There is no issue notification about the plugin on my site health information.
My website is still working normally, but I would like to know how this error occur.
WordPress version: 6.6.2
Current Theme: OceanWP 3.5.9
Site Kit version: 1.137.0
PHP 8.1.30
BTW I have already updated the Site Kit to 1.138.0 after receiving the mail. Maybe the issue is fixed in this version ?
Any help would be appreciated! Let me know if you need any additional details.

]]>After I granted access to Sitekit (which has been done numerous time over the years), it redirects the page to wordpress.com login page.
I then go back to WP Sitekit dashboard, it seems that it was not connected at all. I have gone thru the process many times, all return the same result.
So to clarify and be clear, this issue is exclusively only on devices where I am login into the backend on wordpress.com and when I open an external browser and search my website name on Google when google sitekit plugin is activated when I click open my website url (it doesn’t matter what platform I use for my url it’s broken somehow) it loads a completely blank screen. It doesn’t give me a 404 error or nothing. Just totally blank and won’t load my website pages at all. On my husband’s device and other devices where I am not login to WordPress it loads just fine. I went through all my plugins via WordPress support’s guidance and I found out that sitekit was the plugin causing me the problem. WordPress support confirmed it as well that it was site kit.
I really want to use google site kit but still be able to use and see my website on the front end without these issues. Please help, thank you.
]]>I’ve recently cloned a site from a staging to a live server, but I’m now stuck with the plug in pointing at the old staging url of https://www.domain.com/staging and I can’t seem to update this to just https://www.domain.com
Tried numerous resets, uninstall then reinstall the plug in and removing the google connections but no dice.
Any ideas anyone?

]]>Hello everyone ! I try to setup Site Kit, but I’m stuck at the ownership verification process. Once I choose the Google account I want to use with Site Kit, I accept all the permissions, and it redirects me to my homepage : https://entretien-plante-interieur.fr/?action=googlesitekit_proxy_exchange_site_code&googlesitekit_code=sitekit-EhIKB1Nlc3Npb24QgICAuvrywws&googlesitekit_site_code=4%2F0AVG7fiTZajQJPqQXAoYPVe4fmYpMoOSkq9G5-C8JP5IxNM_cBtgh1hl2nTtSLwM6WPThKQ&nonce=784dc68966&step=verification
But I’m stuck on my homepage and I can’t return to the Site Kit setup steps, even when I manually reload the URL, or manually go back (it brings me back to the selection of which Google account I want to use, and same problem then).
I tried to flush my cache, disable my cache or pagespeed optimization plugins, and tried on private navigation mode. I’m also a verified owner on my Search Console with the same Google account email. Nothing worked !
Note : I’m trying to install Site Kit because I have issues with Adsense, the “ads.txt” file is often noticed as “file not found” on my Adsense console, but when I click on “search for updates”, it finds the file normally.
Can you help me ? I didn’t find any related problem on forums.

]]>Hi
I setup Google Site kit and connected it with Google Analytics on the 15th and it is not currently showing new visitors to the site. Everything is connected, but I had problems for whatever reason to setup Tag Manager which I set up today.
A newsletter was sent out on the 16th (two days ago) and it would be nice to be able to see the result of that in relation to visitors to the site.
Thank you.

Hi
i read google doc about Sitekit and GTM but im not sure the right way to set up this
Google doc says the best way to implement GA is with GTM, as it will be easier to deal with later by adding new tags on GTM anytime needed
On sitekit plugin, we can setup GTM, but first it asks us to setup GA
so im confused when reading those guides :
https://developers.google.com/tag-platform/devguides
https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/11898619
can you describe what is the best way, step by step to do it
should i create a GTM first before i set up the sitekit plugin ?
how GA will be created and added to GTM automatically by sitekit plugin ?
please explain
thanks ??
]]>I have a really bad time setting up Google Analytics for my site. First I tried to copy paste the tag in the php code manually, but that didn’t work. Than I tried it with the Site Kit plugin. In the Site Kit settings I see there is a connection and it also shows me the property data, but I can’t find that connection in my Google account. I also can’t see any data in my Site Kit dashbord. When I create a datastream via my Google account I get the error “Can’t find any data streams. Please set up a stream to start collecting data in this property“. Please help me
]]>I’m reopening this ticket.
We deleted the custom dimensions in GA4 and updated Site Kit so they would be created again. We’re back to square 1, the custom dimensions show up in GA4 and Lookerstudio but they’re empty (no author, publication date or category). The Site Kit UI displays “No data to display: your site hasn’t received any visitors yet” for the custom dimensions although there’s been thousands of users per day (as recorded in the “new Visitors” Site Kit card and GA4) screenshot.
I can also confirm that every new WP post has an author, a category and a publication date. There’s also only 5 custom dimensions total in GA4 so not a quota issue.
Let me know what else we can try,
Thanks,
Hi:
I moved my website from a managed hosting provider to a VPS. On my old host, SiteKit was working just fine. After I transferred, I got the "Site Kit cannot access the WordPress REST API. Please ensure it is enabled on your site." error. And then when I connected to my Google account it shows "Data Error in Search Console" messages.
The only changes I made to my site files was to delete inactive plugins and update to the latest versions on the active ones. When I tried WordPress troubleshooting mode, SiteKit did connect properly - a weird thing kept happening as I enabled each plugin, I kept getting an error message that it crashed my site. I selected the "force anyway" option to keep going - and did this to all the plugins and SiteKit kept connecting properly with all plugins active in Troubleshooting mode. As soon as I turned Troubleshooting mode off, SiteKit didn't connect properly anymore.
I temporarily disabled my Firewall and that didn't fix the problem. I tried opening the page in an Incognito window and that didn't fix the problem. I've searched a bunch of these similar issues on the forum and I haven't found one that seems to come up with an answer that would fix my particular situation. Maybe it's something in my WordFence settings, but I have tried temporarily deactivating it as well at that didn't work.
I'm guessing the problem is most likely due to my server configuration (Apache), but I don't know enough about those settings to know where to go look. Any advice or help to point me in the right direction would be most welcome.
I have the site health info ready to upload to review.
Thanks in advance!
~David

It says either they don’t have permission to view the page (when linking to wp-admin/admin.php?page=googlesitekit-dashboard) or they get a 404 (when the link is this: /wp-admin/googlesitekit-dashboard). Even if I upgrade the other users to admin level, it shows in the menu on the left, but they still get the 404 and still can’t see any information.
I’ve also selected the option to view it on the dashboard, but it doesn’t appear there, nor does any box in the Screen Options to even show it.
