Hi, i would like to enlarge the lightbox size to a width of about 1400px but whatever change the setting to the lightbox does not follow my setting. What am i missing.

I would like to translate the text NEXT PAGE on button at the bottom of the album gallery. I tried to open the pot-file but poedit nor loco translate can open this pot-file. Is there a valid pot-file or po/mo files available?

I recently updated the plugin to version 4.0.3 (WordPress version 6.4.2) and have to connect to Google again. However when I try to do this access is blocked with error 400 (redirect_uri_mismatch): “Access blocked, this app’s request is invalid”. How can this be solved?

I am using PHP 8.2 and Google authentication works, thumbnails and galleries are loaded fine but when trying to open full size image I get error on console:

I have tried to deauthorize and recreate credentials but nothing.

Hi there. We upgraded to PHP 8 and the plugin is now giving errors. We had to do the upgrade due to other plugins that needed it. Can you please advise? Thank you.

This morning I got an email from Google:

Starting October 3, 2022, we will block OOB requests to Google’s OAuth 2.0 authorization endpoint for existing clients

this apparently effects my albums. Should this plugin be rewritten or just the documentation on how to connect to Google properly?

Is there a way via code, to arrange the albums in certain order? for example by name, last modified etc? as some of the latest one created are being displayed in the second page and not in the first one.

I can’t connect the plugin to the google account, I followed the procedure described here:

but when I create the OAuth client ID the “other” item does not appear so when I try to connect the account the following error appears:

Errore 400: redirect_uri_mismatch
The redirect URI in the request, urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob, can only be used by a Client ID for native application. It is not allowed for the WEB client type. You can create a Client ID for native application at https://console.developers.google.com/apis/credentials/oauthclient

I would like to change the font and color of the Album Title on the click album images page. Right now it is left justified and I would like to have it center, and make the text white. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Up until the Create Oauth client ID screen everything was fine. But on this screen, mine has an error message “To create an OAuth client ID, you must first set a product name on the consent screen” and next to it is a button to configure consent screen. When I click this button, it goes into an Oauth consent screen with many questions which I have no answers for. E.g. scopes for google apis, authorized domains, application home page link, etc.

Any idea what to do next?

I have successfully authenticated and I can see my albums on the Album ID Finder. But when I enter the shortcode, nothing is returned. I followed the “Steps to Get Google API Credentials”, but it was a bit different. Google wanted me to create an app and now there is an “OAuth consent screen”. I’m wondering if I did something wrong here.

There are a number of posts about the photo limit per page as an inherent limitiation by the google API (https://developers.google.com/photos/library/guides/list).

This makes sense as far as limiting the number of miniatures on a page. However, when browsing through the pictures of an album in large size, it doesn’t make sense to return to photo 1 after photo 50. It would make more sense to continue to photo 51 (so ‘underwater’ go to the next page.

Can this behaviour be implemented?

I am using version 3.2.2 (Pro).

Hey, there!

Bought the pro version, at the begining it worked perfect, but sudenly stopped showing album and picture thumbnails. It loads photos in gallery though. Tried deleting cache and resizing thumbnails but nothing helps. Also tried to reconnect the app.

And another question- how can I use default plugin css for photo viewer, because it somehow takes my site css and looks really ugly. Other sites where I use non Pro version looks better than this. It doest no load download icon and other icons and takes website color for navigation arrows wich does not look good. Hope you get the idea.

Hello !

I recently install the module on my website and it works great ! But sometimes albums don’t load well and I get some PHP warning errors…

Warning: Illegal string offset 'sharedAlbums' in .../plugins/google-picasa-albums-viewer/shortcode/shortcode-albums-google-photos.php on line 117

It seems Google API response is empty and templates are trying to display values from this empty array. Is there a solution to fix these errors ?

I wish to use this plugin in the new page we’re setting up for our music school.
After a couple of hours fighting with Oauth permissions, I’ve been able to connect the plugin with our Google account.

Now, I’ve pasted the generic shortcode to show all our Google Photos album grid on a page but nothing is shown. The album ID finder doesn’t show nothing either.

I’m considering to buy the pro version, but first I need the regular version to work…

I’ve read the whole forum but I can’t see any satisfactory response to this issue.

How can we adjust the speed of the carousel?

What shortcode can we use to show the album title in JIG view in the pro version?

Tried all of these, album_title=1 show_title=1 show_details=1, none show the album name above the grid.

When we use the album shortcode, and a user clicks into an album, it goes to the photo’s page fine.

Example:

website.com/albums – Albums page with album shortcode
website.com/photos – Photos page with photos shortcode

But then the permalink/breadcrumb for the current page is essentially a link to:

website.com/photos

This shows as blank when accessed directly.

I manually added a link to the albums page saying “Back to albums” but it’s a bit annoying knowing I have an invalid link in the breadcrumbs.

Is there a way to show “All Photos” as an album?

However, if I click on an album, the album cover page also returns after loading.

I have just installed the plugin and cant seem to figure out why it wont work.

I saw that there is a new version of the Google Photo plugin (3.2.3) but I’m still running an old version (3.1.5). I didn’t get any message that there is an update available and installing over the previous version does not work. How can I solve this?

I’ve a problem with displaying images in a clicked album. After I click album second page load but shows only title of album no images.

Any advice on how to fix this?
Am using DIVI theme.

This is more of a feature suggestion, rather than a issue, but it would be good if the album title is getting displayed on the result-page.

From the description of the plugin I was left with the impression that this could be achieved by using the album_title attribute in the result page:

Display Images in Clicked Album
(b) Shortcode to display images in clicked album

This is the basic shortcode to display images with the clicked album cover from (a) [cws_gpp_images_in_album_gphotos]
Shortcode (b) Options
The album title can be hidden using option album_title=0

but I am using the following shortcode and the album title is not getting displayed

[cws_gpp_images_in_album_gphotos show_details=1 theme=projig row_height=200 album_title=1]

The other nice to have feature will be to have a Next and Previous option to navigate on the result page of clicked album to access the result page of the next album in line.
