Hi,
I have downloaded the map. But every time I fill in a location it says “nothing found”.
I have inserted the API key and now can’t work out what’s wrong. Can you lend me a hand?
Hi,
I think this plugin is orphaned? No update for WP 4.
Hi,
I have a travel site and I want to use this map for each travel destinations on different posts, is it possible to do this without adding widget?
The map is just not shown anymore on my website.
It worked perfectly, but now its gone.
In my dashboard I can still ad locations, etc… but nothing is showing.
Check cinthiatravel.com
There are several posts here that are not being addressed. Is there any support by the developer?
There are no markers on my locations on the map. Any help?
Hello,
I have got a problem. I am using the plugin to track the route of my around the world trip. It worked perfect until today. I added some locations and when I checked the according page of me blog, the map didn’t show up anymore. There is a gap in the page wherer there used to be the map. And if I right click on the page, I even can read the generated source code of the plugin. But I can not see the map.
Can you please give me an advise how to fix this problem?
Best regards,
Katzenman
Hey.
I just installed your plugin, but when i add locations, and try to make a route, nothing is showing on the map.
Not even the markers, but the strange thing is, that i can push the markers (but i can’t see them), and they show me their title.
Here is my map.

Am I understanding correctly that only one route map per website is possible? If not can you explain how to add a second or third map? I am using the shortcode to drop it into a page.
Thanks
I made a full map, with about 166 locations with descriptions. I was checking the site every 5 or ten entries to make sure it was displaying well and then suddenly all my entries were giving me the message “error saving data” whenever i tried to update a location. Now the map will not display on the site at all, just give me a white space, and all my locations are giving me the error. I tried to investigate in the database, but i am not sure what i am looking at. Please help me!
Hello, I think your plugin is perfect for my plan. You check the implementation on https://jayoe.com/map/
The problem i am having is with reliability, the map on my page only loads properly intermittently, and sometimes it does not leaving only a white space in its place.
I do live in china and it could be that viewing from here could be creating some problem, but i need to sort it out before i enter the few hundred point descriptions on the map.
I also have a question about sorting. If i put my path on the map, and when want to add a point in-between 2 existing points… is that possible? can i sort points..?
If you have time, contact me and i would like to ask you some more developer questions. I would like to ask a few specific questions about the mobility of the map as well as full screen.
Hope you can help. If i can get this resolved i would love to donate, as this would be a huge part of my journey.
Great plugin, nice job!
By default it is available in posts and pages.
Is it possible to use it in a custom post type?
It would be nice if one can specify the travel type in a route from one point to another. For example, I plotted out a route that includes L’ile Rousse in Corsica, France as point A, and Figari Beach in Corsica, France as point B. Travel from point A to point B will be by sea, but the route is shown as if the travel from point A to point B will be by land.
Great plugin, by the way. Thanks for developing it.

Hi! Just downloaded this plugin. Got my API code, entered it, and: nothing. I get an error message, that google does not allow to use this an the website?! You ever had this troubles? What can I do?
Hello,
When I try to add a new location from the admin interface, I always get an empty result, no errors, no warnings. Just nothing like you can see in this screen shot.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/qamp8bdby7jfh55/Screenshot%202013-11-01%2007.52.59.png
I added the google map api key and I made sure “allow_url_fopen = On” was enabled.
How should I troubleshoot this issue?
Thanks!
Hi
I’m trying to sort the order of the locations, so I can make a route, but I can’t find it. And I also checked to create from the start the locations in the order I need but there’s the problem remaining
Any idea of what’s happening?
Thanks!
Hi Simon,
I just wnated to add a location, but when I enter for example “Paris” this message shows up: “Nothing found…”
When I enter [travelroute] to a post or use the plugin in a widget, a map appears. So the API seems to work ?!?
Any idea?
Regards
Moosebacher
I created a page with only [travelroute] in the body:
https://clephas.nl/google-maps-test/
However the map does not show. (I can see the map in the wp-admin backend).
Also I have entered the google maps api and activated the Google Maps API v3.
Previous was closed… If this one is closed again I won’t try to help anymore.
Add CSS Style:
/* Flexible iFrame */
.Flexible-container {
position: relative;
padding-bottom: 56.25%;
padding-top: 30px;
height: 0;
overflow: hidden;
}
.Flexible-container iframe,
.Flexible-container object,
.Flexible-container embed {
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 0;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
}
Edit line 35 in gmtr-shortcode.php
Change this
// Fix
$op.='';
$op.='

';
Using this
// Fix
$op.='';
$op.='

';

Any way to make it responsive to mobile phones and tablets?
