Hello there, I would need a tool to insert a google map with custom markers (i.e. a label with the company’s name) and a bubble with description inside when you click on it. Possibly with the option of inserting also an image or an URL in the bubble, and have a sort of pop up on the page when you want more infos. Like in this case:

I have been looking at various plug-ins for wordpress but I’m not quite sure with which I could be doing all of this, and how.
Could you help me somehow?
thank you

Google maps doesn’t really even support or need an API key anymore. When you follow the instructions to actually try and get one, Google blocks the API from working with this plugin, and just causes errors, and the map never shows.
I like this plugin, but it needs to be updated.

]]>On the latest version of WordPress, latest version of Chrome, Safari and Firefox, latest version of this plugin. Mac OSX Snow Leopard.
The map shows up in Chrome and Safari, but the “speech bubble” effect wrapped around the place marked/to enter your address for directions is slightly distorted on the bottom.
The map doesn’t show up at all in Firefox 8, though it does show the speech bubble to enter your address for directions. When I enter an address, it shows the purple line showing the path between destinations, but the map itself isn’t there. It also loads the word directions below the map just fine.
I disabled all other plugins but this one, still same issue.

]]>Hey,
I am loving the plugin, but on my latest website, due to the background colour of the theme, I am using a light, almost white font colour. This causes issues when the pop up bubble on the map asks for your location, and shows the place description. The default font colour is great for then showing the list of directions, but I do not know enough php to see what I should change to make the font over the map display as black?
Could anyone help me please?
Thanks
Ryan
