I accidentaly used the wrong wordpress.com account to connect to this. Now I can’t remove the connection. How do I do that?

Why did you make this so impossibly hard to do? Are you intentionally trying to piss off your user base? My agency builds hundreds of websites a year and we’re just about fed up with this plugin. It always is unstable and setting it up was always a nightmare. But this…this is just the absolute worst experience!

My dear developers, when you create a button called “Disconnect from all accounts” it should actually disconnect from ALL ACCOUNTS not just from Google Ads & Google Merchant.

Why is the Google tag added? It is yours and cannot be controlled.

Strange behavior that cannot be controlled

Custom Field Attribute Mapping

We’re trying to do some attribute mapping. We need to map some custom fields to some Google for WooCommerce fields.

Using your guide as a reference: https://woocommerce.com/document/google-for-woocommerce/attribute-mapping/use-cases/#mapping-custom-fields

So i have custom fields added to my products using the hook “woocommerce_product_options_inventory_product_data”, this means the custom fields are displayed in the Inventory tab for each product.

My field ids are: barcode, part_number, and _backorder_availability_date.

barcode should map to GTIN, part_number should map to MPN, _backorder_availability_date should map to the Availability Date field.

I’ve used the filter in your guide above (woocommerce_gla_attribute_mapping_sources_custom_attributes) to add the field keys to the mapping sources, so they do now appear in the dropdown list & I’ve created the mapping rules.

However, I’m not sure the mapping is working as expected. If i update one of my Barcode values, it doesn’t seem to correctly update the GTIN field. Same for the part_number field, it doesn’t update the MPN field.

i was expecting the target attribute to be updated in line with the data source but this doesn’t happen. do you have any ideas why? Am i missing something or misunderstanding how the mapping should work?

Also, why i can’t select Availability Date as a target attribute? It means i can’t add my mapping rule from the data source _backorder_availability_date.

Finally, does the mapping also work for variable products? My field keys for simple / variable products are the same but i don’t see any documentation about mapping variable products.

Hi,

After updating to WP 6.7 I’m getting this notice:

Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the google-listings-and-ads domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later.

I notice that multiple plugins have this error after WP was updated. I have most recent plugin version 2.8.7 (that was updated today). My site language is non-English.

On the setup page “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fgoogle%2Fsetup-mc” there comes this error message:

Usually, custom_label is used for Google ads, and it will support quick filter product for campaign setting.

For example, in the smartwatch category, there are smartwatch for men, and women, or kids, sports sytle, business style, or Fashion styles.

For school bags, there might be school bags for kids, teachers, or Middle school, college school…

We need assign custom_label “business style” if there is a term of “business” in title.

That value will be show in Google merchant center, and it looks like the following screenshot:

In Google ads, we can quick filter product by custom_label.

So, it would be great if it support mapping an attribute value based on the some condition like if a value exsit in one of attribute A, then assign value to attribute B

I have been trying to set up my google/woocommerce account since Friday. I have uninstalled, cleared the cache and reinstalled twice but still get the same error message.

When I begin the set up process and input my phone number in order to receive the verification code I immediately get an error message which reads as follows:

THere was an error loading the Google Merchant Centre contact information. Please reconnect your google account.

I found instructions online about how to reconnect my google account but these all require accessing the Google Listings and Ads plugin which I gather is the old name for Google for Woocommerce.

Please can you advise?

Hi!

I am setting up the merchant to the newly created website that is used on the same domain. While adding the different accounts all goes well, until I arrive at connecting the Merchant. When I select the right Merchant and press ‘Connect’, I receive the message ‘Merchant link is not available to accept’.

I have updated the domain without the https://www., and even that does not compell.

Hello,

We’ve been experiencing an issue with our product variations for the past two weeks. After adding a third variation option for multiple products, we started receiving “Price Mismatched” errors from Google Merchant Center.

To resolve it temporarily, we request a website check every time over the Merchant Center, and the issue is fixed after 6-8 hours. However, the crawler then mistakenly flags it again after a while. We are currently losing revenue due to this issue. We are running a high volume of Google ads for our Merchant Center products, but if products are delisted, we can’t promote them effectively.

I’ve attached a screenshot from Merchant Center and the system report for further insight.

How can we address this issue permanently?

“Merchant Center account is not set up.” after setup

Trying to set up Google for WooCommerce, and finding it extremely difficult to link all the services, especially Google Merchant Center.

First time around everything connected, but Google Merchant Center was not communicating correctly (and the set-up page kept reappearing), and so I followed some of the other suggestions to unlink the Google accounts and to re-link. When re-linking, “Merchant link is not available to accept” pops up during set up, but it turned out fine after 30 minutes of waiting.

However, Google Merchant Center is still not communicating properly, and I encounter the same range of issues as before the re-linking.

After “success” at setup, the product feed page (/admin.php?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fgoogle%2Fproduct-feed) continuously pops up with errors:

“There was an error loading issues to resolve. Merchant Center account is not set up.”

“There was an error loading your merchant center product statistics. Merchant Center account is not set up.”

If I were to click on the Marketing/Google for Woocommerce button again on the menu, the page would default to /admin.php?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fgoogle%2Fstart as if the set up had not occured.

Checking on Google Merchant Center itself (https://merchants.google.com/mc/linkedaccounts/integrations), both Google Ads and Woocommerce seems to be linked.

What is the issue here?

This plugin causes my Google Merchant Account to be SUSPENDED due to “Misrepresentation”. I have fixed and/or do not have the issues Google claims. Google is no help and will not tell me what is wrong. We sell simple products and follow all guidelines.

Hello everyone,

I’m facing an issue with the Google for WooCommerce. A couple of weeks ago, everything was working smoothly, and my products were successfully showing in Google Merchant Center through the primary feed connected via API. However, recently, all my products disappeared from Merchant Center, and I noticed that an automatic data source has been created without my intervention.

Here’s a quick summary of the issue:

My main product feed, which is set up through WooCommerce and connected by API, suddenly stopped showing any products in Merchant Center but remain active.
Out of nowhere, a new data source was automatically created in Google Merchant Center, and I’m not sure why or how to prevent it from happening, is the second time that is happening.
Since the automatic data source was created, none of my products are showing in the Merchant Center, which is impacting my visibility on Google even after I delete that data source.

Has anyone experienced something similar with the Google for WooCommerce plugin? Any advice on how to stop the automatic data source creation and get my products back in Merchant Center?

My site has been getting progressively slower so I have disabled all plugins and reactivated them individually in an attempt to discover which plugin is causing this and noticed the loading time doubled accoriding to the query monitor plugin which can provide more details if this would be helpful – possibly a configuration issue as nobody else is complaining?

Shipping from Woocommerce not getting sync with Google Merchant

I have created a multiple shipping options including a free delivery however woocommerce is only sending one shipping option to google merchant centre and pricing is also very wiered , I have tried deleting and reupload but nothing helps, Woocomerce just keep on overriding the shipping data on merchant centre

Default mapped attributes not being applied to some variable products

Hi there!

I’m really close to launching a WooCommerce website for a client, but lately I’ve been running into issues with the syncing of some variable products.

As shown in the attached screenshot above, several variable products are showing some values as missing, even though attribute mapping has been configured to set those values to a known variable and has successfully been applied to almost everything else in the store.

I’ve already tried manually syncing and removing the products both individually and as the whole feed from the connection test page, but so far have not found success in getting rid of the problem.

Below I have attached the store’s status report, but if there is anything else I should provide to troubleshoot, just let me know.
