Hello, I am using Yoast plugin to generate sitemap and Google XML sitemap for Images to generate Image sitemap. Now I am seeing below error by WordPress SEO by Yoast
The following file(s) is/are blocking your XML sitemaps from working properly:
/home/whatvwant/public_html/sitemap-image.xml
Either delete them (this can be done with the “Fix it” button) or disable Yoast SEO XML sitemaps.
Earlier it was fine. But now yoast plugin is giving this error.
What should I do?
]]>I am not able to generate image sitemap for my this blog Valentines Day 2016 . I don’t know what’s the matter. This is the error that I am getting while trying to generate image sitemap.
The XML sitemap was generated successfully but the plugin was unable to save the xml to your WordPress root folder at /home/users/web/b105/ipg.myfreshhosting.
Please ensure that the folder has appropriate write permissions.
You can either use the chmod command in Unix or use your FTP Manager to change the permission of the folder to 0666 and then try generating the sitemap again.
If the issue remains unresolved, please post the error message in this WordPress forum.
I will be glad if someone helps me.

]]>Great plugin! Thanks for all of you effort to make this available.
Just wondering: Is there a way to EXCLUDE Images by ID #? It would be great if there was a field for users to enter an image ID# so the image DOES NOT appear in the sitemap.
Please let me know, thanks!

First of all let me say the plugin is great.
1) I wondered if it’d be better to generate the XML ordering the posts by modified date.
Wouldn’t then Google index the newer faster?

I used your image sitemaps plugin and noticed what looks like code spilling into the sitemaps-image.xml file of one of my sites:
