Wordfence reports that your plugin “Google Drive Embedder” has been removed from www.remarpro.com. It also appears the plugin hasn’t been updated for seven months. I cannot find any information for the reason for the former. Therefore, I’d like to know
a) What’s going on, and;
b) Is it (still) safe to use this plugin?
An answer to my two queries would be greatly appreciated as changing to another plugin would be a considerable inconvenience.
]]>We use Google Drive Embedder to upload files and folders from Google Drive to WordPress. However, when I delete files or folders from Google Drive, they are also removed from the WordPress page. How can we prevent these files from being deleted or save them within WordPress?

]]>After I updated the recent update of the Google Embedder plugin it caused a conflict with Beaver Builders CSS stylesheet and it condensed the size of the site’s layout so for tablet size even though it’s on a full screen on a computer. I have uninstalled the WordPress Embedder plugin for the moment so our company website renders the normal page layout. Please let me know when the issue is resolved so I can reinstall the plugin.

]]>Just fyi, I got held up on Step 7. It told me my domain wasn’t authorized. I finally figured it out:
1. Put the Project ID in App Name so it matches exactly (this appears to be a long running bug – https://stackoverflow.com/questions/63948396/issue-when-trying-to-register-an-app-for-consent-screen-in-google-oauth)
2. Be sure your site is registered/verified with google via the google search console (https://search.google.com/search-console). I use a file I uploaded to the home directory, but they give you other options.
My site was in maintenance while I worked, but I had to take it out also. Good luck.

When I embed a google sheet it appears as anticipated, just showing the data. When I embed a google doc it show a light blue border all the way around the document making it look like it’s not really part of the page. This doesn’t look very professional. Is there a way to change the blue background to the same color as the wordpress page?

Is there a limit on the number of pages in a document or characters? On my resource on 1028 pages I got an error, it was worth deleting N lines and transferring the picture, everything worked (1027 pages)

However, when I try to use the embedder I get the following message below. I’ve verified that I have activated the Google Drive API so I’m not sure what’s causing the issue.

You have specified that I ONLY require a G Suite account not basic Gmail – if I need the feature: Automatic file attachments area: each page/post in WordPress automatically creates its own folder in your Drive hierarchy (requires G Suite account not basic Gmail) – located in instructions here – https://wp-glogin.com/drive/
To set up the Enterprise account you say I need to” have configured a Service Account via the Google Apps Login plugin”.
I can’t complete the set up because in the step >
Granting rights for your Service Account to access Groups or Drive etc:
Finally, as a Google Apps domain administrator, you need to go to your regular Google Apps Domain admin console at admin.google.com
I get the message: admin.google.com is for G Suite accounts only. Regular Gmail accounts cannot be used to sign in to admin.google.com
I do not have a G Suite account – so my 5 hours of problem solving have been for nothing!
