The widget that creates a list of selected events has thumbnails.
The thumbnails are coming from “https://images.goldstar.com” — and this is causing our web pages to not verify as secure. It needs to be “https”.
Can you please make one small change to this file:
goldstar/widgets/teaser/frontend.php
On line #148, change it to:
$_arr_replace = array(“https://images.goldstar.com”);
Unable to activate the Goldstar plugin (version 1.4.5) using WordPress version 4.6+. The following errors are seen:
Warning: require_once(__DIR__/widgets/teaser/teaser.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home1/nocontra/public_html/miamitext.com/wp-content/plugins/goldstar/goldstar.php on line 62
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘__DIR__/widgets/teaser/teaser.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php52/lib/php’) in /home1/nocontra/public_html/miamitext.com/wp-content/plugins/goldstar/goldstar.php on line 62
I tried to modify the directory where the teaser.php file is as well as tried copying the teaser.php file into the root but that did not work.
Please provide a solution, help!
]]>Hi-
I am running a social network with goldstar plugin added in to the site.
The plugin is giving me an error – Uncaught ReferenceError: goldstar_paging is not defined in goldstar.js. This error is causing my main theme to not function correctly. The header dropdown menu and logout features cease to work. As soon as I deactivate the plugin – all header features work correctly again. Is there a fix or update of this plugin so it can be fixed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I’m a little worried that this plugin has been abandoned.
Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks!
]]>Starting with WordPress vers. 4.1 the Goldstar plugin vers. 1.4 failed and was deactivated with these error messages(I’ve deleted the front portion of the paths):
“Warning: require_once(__DIR__/widgets/teaser/teaser.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in …XXXX/wp-content/plugins/goldstar/goldstar.php on line 62
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘__DIR__/widgets/teaser/teaser.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php’) in …XXXX/wp-content/plugins/goldstar/goldstar.php on line 62″
and the page simply displays the shortcode [goldstar-plugin]
I’ve deactivated all plugins except Goldstar and have manually uploaded a new copy of the plugin vers. 1.4 and the errors remain.
