Hello! Great plugin ?? I am using the shortcode to render global blocks and it doesn’t seem to be pulling over any line breaks. In case it helps troubleshoot this issue, I’m using do_shortcode()
Thanks!
]]>Hey ?? First – I LOVE THIS PLUGIN. Thank you!
Second – Not a big issue, just kind of annoying in debugging situations. I get this error in the debug log every time a page loads. Happens on a number of sites too.
PHP Notice: Undefined index: custom_css in /path/to/global-blocks-for-cornerstone/element.php on line 64
Just though I’d let you know!
]]>Hello,
the plugin does not seem to work with Pro v1.2.3 because of their new section system. When I call a global block in a new page, a lot of visual elements break with totally unexpected behaviours.
Also, before the block were listed in the “Content” section of Cornerstone / Pro, now they don’t anymore.
Could you please support this new version of Pro (and X, I suppose)? Thank you!
]]>Hi guys!
Author of Broadcast here.
I’ve added Broadcast support for your plugin, which will now allow users to share blocks between blogs on a network.
Feel free to link to broadcast if you encounter any users that want to share blocks on their network.
]]>Hey everyone,
The quickest way to get support would be to contact me through the X Theme Tips blog. I rarely get notifications of posts here.
Some quick tips:
1) Re-save permalinks! This plugin relies on a CPT and some X updates have caused permalink troubles. If you ever get a Page Not Found error, simply re-save your permalinks.
Thanks!
]]>Any chance of making this once again compatible with X Pro 1.1 (now “Pro 1.1”)? I get a page not found when attempting to edit any existing global block. Thanks!
]]>Love what you guys have created!
Here are a few ideas that could make your tool even more powerful:
1. Allow me to SAVE any existing SECTION while I am in the Cornerstone editor as a new Global Block (and then ask if I want to replace it with my new block). This would allow me to take existing stuff that has been designed and tested on a page and easily convert it and re-use it.
In fact, now that I think about it, it would be awesome if I could convert a global block BACK to be normal block. In other words, I am thinking that this would be a great way to help prototype out a website. To have global blocks that we can re-use for building out a page, but then when it comes time to actually do the development we may have added a certain “template” block onto many pages and now want to start customizing it per page. So to be able to just convert that block back to a non-global block would be sweet. Otherwise I would have to at least go and manually copy and paste the code out of the global block and into the page using cornerstone shortcodes which would all get very messy.
2. Integrate your Global Blocks admin menu into the X menus like here:

and also here:
https://screencast-o-matic.com/screenshots/u/fObY/1493216645062-38159.png
3. In fact, you might even just hook into their “Templates” screen and allow me to edit from there, wow, that would be awesome:

4. When I go to add a new block, I am thinking it should take me directly into the Cornerstone editor, perhaps you prompt me for a name first and then take me there… but that seems to make more sense than starting in the WP page admin.
5. And finally, the ability to export all my global blocks and import them in on another site would be very sweet also… allow me to build my reusable blocks and take them with me on any site – amazing.
Let me know your thoughts and if you like any of these directions, thanks!

hi,
Using X Pro 1.02 and Global Blocks for Cornerstone and X Pro 1.3
Content in a Global Block when only using text editor aligns properly.
That same content, even if it’s just raw text, will indent when placed in any X Pro element.
Any ideas? Thanks
]]>1. Global block Edit with X Pro opens Page Not Found.
2. Old shortcode [cs_global_blocks block=”4557″] showing in element on post
3. New shortcode [global_block block=”4557″] showing in editor >> Feel free to use this Global Block anywhere with this shortcode:
[global_block block=”4557″]
Please help by managing translation

Thanks you for your answer
]]>Hi,
I have a Global Block on this site:
wiperstimesplay.co.uk
The block is the UK Tour Dates section. Originally this was integrated into the Tickets section (#x-section-3).
I then found that Global Blocks breaks one-page functionality: the next menu item GALLERY was going to the top of the Global Block instead of the Gallery section, even though the menus were set correctly.
As an attempted fix, I created a new dedicated section for the Global Block, and changed the GALLERY and TEAM sections so that they now point to #x-section-5 and #x-section-6 respectively.
However, the one-page functionality is still broken!
Thanks for your help.
]]>Hi !
Wonderful plugin!
I’m using it to create a multilingual site with x-theme and wpml and I was wondering how it works.
I activated the option to translate the global blocks with the “+” signs in my global blocks list(in the backend), but when I load a page in English, it is the default French global block that is loading.
(You can see it here: https://preview.achatdor.ch/things-to-know/?lang=en
the global block is “NOS BOUTIQUES”, i want to show the global block “OUR SHOPS”
Is there a way to achieve that?
]]>Hi, thanks for this plugin.
I’m testing it and it works almost fine. I’m using hooks in my single-post templates and now every hooks is displayed twice.
Any idea how to solve this?
Thanks, Menno
]]>Hi there!
This is an awesome plugin – can’t wait to start using it in my projects! I’m running into a snag where the Global Block element isn’t an option in Cornerstone once I created the block.
Not sure if it matters, but I’m running Multisite, both Cornerstone and Global Blocks are activated at the site level. I did try it with Network Activate but still no luck. Any help would be super appreciated! ??

I am getting this error above all global blocks:
