Hey, I am wanting to edit the ribbon with the words “Updated” and have it so that my news posts have the option to put this when we update a file on our site, so if the news page is updated, we manually tick the box to enable your plugin on this certain news page which will put the ribbon in either corner saying “updated” like so: https://i.imgur.com/Ul5UpGn.jpg?1
Can you please help. Thanks ??
In category view, some posts are github related. The ribbon is not show on those posts. Ribbon only shows up when you view one post at a time.

Great plugin!
Hi
I found a problem in your plugin.
Github username url in wrong format, example in right sidebar. https://themes.fruitfulcode.com/fruitful/changelog/
Have you considered making this a general purpose ribbon plugin, i.e. for any kind of diagonal advertising banner?
The only customizable plugin I could find for this was last updated in 2010:

On a slightly related note, I did try editing the plugin for my own purposes. I’m no coder, but it was easy enough to do some search-&-replace to alter the preset text. Where I got stuck was with WooThemes’ responsive Buro theme. I got the plugin working with the default WordPress themes as well as another WooTheme, but I suspect the plugin failed on Buro because of its responsive design. Anyhow, I’ll see if the WooThemes developers can lend me a hand.
The ribbons that this plugin shows are very attractive (IMO) on screen, but really shouldn’t appear on printed materials—especially since the ribbon appears on every page of the printout.
The plugin should have an @media print {…}
CSS section that puts a display: none;
on the ribbon, which would need an ID or classname on the
or
to work (and I’m surprised that one isn’t already present so I can hide it manually via custom styles).
This is by no means the only plugin that places useless content on printouts; I’m submitting this feature request to all the ones that I’ve noticed.
