We’re really pleased with your plugin, but we urgently need the PRO version that includes product variations.

About 80% of our customers prefer gift cards that show the service they’re for, rather than showing cash value.

Please offer us work arround so we can continue using the plugin.

I’m using the “GIFT4U – Gift Cards All in One for Woo” plugin and have successfully integrated a product on my homepage using the shortcode [product_page id="1853"]. While everything displays correctly, the shipping method buttons for the product are not functioning on the homepage. However, they work perfectly on the single product page.

Could you please advise on how to make the shipping method buttons functional on the homepage as well?

Which {} do I use to show purchase date on the voucher itself? I want to add a purchase date so that the user know which date the voucher was purchased. Is this possible?

in my oppinion it is not clear if customer is filling out the input fields what is a required field and what is not.

So all required field should be marked with a “*”.

In my case “Recipient E-mail” ist NOT a required field…but that′s not obvious for the customer.

How can I mark required fields with a “*”?

Regarding the “message field”: in my case I use max 200 letters…If I max this out and use 205 letters there′s at first no sign/error message that I did wrong….only if I click into another field the message frame get′s red….but there′s no message for the customer what he did wrong…this might confuse them…so if the max letters are 200 it should not be possible to use more letters or there needs to be a clear error message what is wrong.

I have created some gift cards and a card template.
For my Giftcards, I haven’t selected any templates from the Product menu, so I see both of them (mine + default).

The delivery method is set to “e-mail” and the option to attach as pdf is “true”.

-BUT-

When I test-buy a gift card and select a Cart Template, I never see it as an email or attached to the received email. I only see the e-mail template (Settings/ email).

What are the proper settings so I use the templates?

If it is a theme thing, is there anyway to disable them and just send the email? (prefer not).

I′m testing your plugin at the moment on my test-site.

I realized that the plugin has some problem if for example coupon value is 20 Euro and subtotal in cart is lower…let′s say 6,90 Euro.

The coupon is getting applied for the 6,90 Euro but than it is doing something with the shipping costs.

Normally shipping would be 3,49 Euro including tax 19%, but now it is

2,93 Euro in cart x 1,19 = 3,49 Euro.

So in this case tax 19% get′s deducted by using the coupon!? That should not be the case …right?

Also for the same case:

I had a coupon with value 20 Euro – 6,90 Euro = 13,10 Euro left (not used).

If I try to order again I′m getting an error message: “the coupon code does not exist”!

Customers will not be happy about that!

Question: Show coupon list should be visible for logged in user…right? It′s activated in my case but I can′t see it.

Is it possible send PDF files (if more then one) in one message? Now if the costumer buy four card he will get four letters.

Hello. I really love your plugin, it’s great. But I have a little issue with it.

I only sell virtual gift cards, but in the chekout page, gift cards are always identified as a physical product and all fields for shipping that I removed for virtual products are saved. I can hide them, but then it will work for all physical products, not only gift cards. In addition, gift cards are defined as a separate type of simple products, which is why they don’t work well with other plugins, such as buy now button, or quantity selection.

Is it possible to somehow redefine the type of products for gift cards so that they are perceived as a virtual downloadable product and all the relevant rules apply to them?

Well i try your plugin, evrything is ok for us except,

When we try to use the generate code, it’s impossible to complet the order :
1 – Go to :

2 – add to cart and fill all require fields

3 – pass the order (evrything is ok)

Now repeat the process 1 and 2 and apply this coupon : dljs0c

Impossible to finish the order …

I need to have multiple fixed prices(select) and create the coupon dynamically. It is probably reserved only for the PRO version but I can’t find the prices or how to purchase it. I congratulate you in advance for the creation of the plugin.

I am setting up a webshop for coffee beans, where we also want to sell gift cards. I added the gift4u plugin and was able to localize some texts by editing the plugin files, but I can not find where to adapt the “select options” text shown in the product overview of the shop. Also changing this text in the woocommerce files does not help. Could you please hint me to where I can adapt it?

Apro un altro topic per chiedere perché il coupon non copre le spese di spedizione. Mi spiego meglio. Il coupon copre il prezzo del prodotto ma non le spese di spedizione. C’è un modo per risolvere per favore?

Buonasera, ho visto che più di un mese fa è sorto un problema di visibilità della data di scadenza e non è stato risolto. Vedo che il plugin non è stato ancora testato con la versione attuale di wordpress. Funziona bene ma mi chiedo se sarà affidabile nel prossimo futuro.

Hi there. I just wondered if you can change the destination for the “click to use” link on the email gift card. It sends the user to the front page of the site, which isn’t where my store is located. I’d like them to go directly to my store (and I don’t mind poking around in code if I need to change this in a file somewhere.

First of all great plugin, thank you for developing this!

I have set it all up with some customisations, but i have one bug and a missing feature.

• On the product edit page, under the coupon tab, I’ve set ‘Expiry date after day(s)’ to 365 (days). When editing my card template the shortcode {coupon_expiry_date} doesn’t work with this option. I really need it to work, setting a manual expiry date doesn’t work in my use case.
• Additionally or alternatively, i would like to add the purchase date on the pdf. How would you go around fixing this?

In my checkout i have many payment methods. e.g. visa, mastercard, twint, postfinance but when i put a gift card product only in the cart, i have only invoice as an option.
