Hi there
We are getting many complaints from our customers as the gift cards are scheduled to go out at the same time of day the order was placed. Many people buy things at night time so the cards are not scheduled until the night time on the day they are sent.
Is there a way around this? to force a set time of day e.g. 9am for delivery?
TIA
]]>We’ve paid for and implemented the WooCommerce Gift Card Plugin. All fine except for on the date selector if you want to send the gift card in the future. You select the date and it displays as 14S December 2020, instead of 14th. This is entirely managed by the plugin so should be nothing to do with our code. I’ve contacted their support twice and had no reply and I’m not sure how else to contact them, so trying here!

So if I purchase a gift card and pay with wire transfer, I can use the code immediately without to pay.

]]>It takes a bit of time to make everything the way you want, but in the end, no one ever receives a gift card email. The order email is sent to admin and the customer, but the receiver, admin nor the buyer gets any email about the gift card with the number. And inside WP Admin, there are no gift cards generated. Using WordPress 4.9.8 and WooCommerce version 3.4.5.
I just read that the email for the gift card doesn’t automatically get sent for the free version… but that seems like a kind of essential part to any gift card plugin.

Hi,
Thank you for WooCommerce – Gift Cards plugin. How to add the multi-currency gift card. My website is multicurrency like rupee, pound, and dollar. So when I create gift card of 100 rupees if that use in the USA or other than India then it should be taken as per currency converter.but it directly takes the $100 or 100 pound which should not happen.
So Is there any way to add the price for a gift card in a different currency.
Hi,
I am running the following
Wordpress 4.9.6
WooCommerce – Gift Cards 2.6.4
WooCommerce – Gift Cards Pro 1.6.2
Woocommerce – 3.3.5
Recently discovered when adding a giftcard an error occurs in Paypal, “Error Detected” your shopping cart is empty, has anyone else had this problem recently? This error also uses the gift card when returning back to shop from the error page.
Really need a fix for this very quickly as I have lots of gift cards wanting to be used. Thank you.

For the ‘enter_title_here’ filter you use the same login (get_current_screen and check screen->post_type).
For that function I found a method that does not use get_current_screen():
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/13004/57684
I went through each function that calls get_current_screen() and changed the code to no longer use that function but use get_post_type() instead. Here is a patch:
https://pastebin.com/jQkYWcv2
I no longer get the fatal error but I have not done much testing.
]]>Greetings, since the last WooCommerce / Gift Cards updates we have lost the ability to Add Items manually to Orders created within the backend, regardless of the Order status.
The whole lower area of the Order is now greyed out and remains that way regardless of the status.
I deactivate the plug-in and the functionality comes back. IS there a fix coming to resolve this issue? is it logged as a bug? anyone know who owns an issue like this?
Thanks all
]]>Hi all – left this is a general woocommerce forum as well but may be better to post here.
We have had this plugin working fine for over a year now. all of a sudden, when we go to place a manual order on the backend “woocommerce > orders > add new” – it wasn’t let us choose a customer from the drop down menu, wouldn’t let us create one, and wouldn’t allow us to add products. (I dont know about the front end)
But after turning off numerous plugins it appears that this plugin is causing the issue. with it turned off it appears our ordering is fine. Is there a way to fix this issue in the plugin itself or does woocommerce have to have an update to fix it?
Thanks

]]>I am now dealing with a third issue. The gift certificate is showing as “out of stock”. When I select “in stock” and hit save, it reverts back to “out of stock”.
If I change the product type to “simple product” rather than “variable product” then when I click “in stock” it saves correctly. However, when I change it back to “variable product” it defaults back to out of stock.
I’ve tried multiple things, including deleting the plugin and reinstalling, and it has not worked – when it is configured correctly (per your instructions) it shows as out of stock. Please respond and let me know if these issues are something that can be fixed.
]]>Yesterday, a customer tried to complete an order using a gift card. The gift card code showed the reduced amount on the cart page – however, when the customer tried to continue to Paypal to complete the remainder of the order, he couldn’t. We tried several times, and could not get it to work. The order showed as “pending” in my Woocommerce dashboard, so I eventually completed the order from the back end of the store and sent him a paypal request for the remainder. However, the order was recorded in Woocommerce up as a sale for the total amount ($111.05) rather than the sale minus the $100 gift card ($11.05) – so now my numbers are off.
This is very frustrating. I’m now experiencing issues with both the experience of purchasing a gift card (see my service request from last month) *and* with customers using the gift card. I was considering purchasing the pro version of the plugin, but will not do so until these issues are resolved and I can be sure the plugin will function as it is supposed to.

]]>Hello. The gift card plugin is no longer functioning properly. There is no longer an option at checkout for the customer to enter the gift recipient’s name, email address, etc.
I haven’t changed any of the settings in my gift card settings. Both the plugin, WordPress, and WooCommerce are all updated to their most recent versions. I am using a child theme, though I do not have a modified “checkout” page in the child theme.
Can you help me resolve this? Customers often purchase gift cards during the holiday season, and this is bad timing for this not to work.
