I have some additional Google Maps functionality throughout my site and the plugin is causing the Maps API script to get loaded twice which is causing issues. On the pages where I have my other maps I do not have any forms, so I’m not sure why the plugin would be loading the script on those pages. Is there an easy way to make it so that the plugin will only load the Maps API script on pages where it’s necessary (pages with forms which have an address field with the “Enable Autocomplete with Google Places API” option enabled)?

Hello I am using gravity forms and I collect address in separate fields because they go to google sheet.

Address, city, state and zip

I noticed that these fields now have the option to “Enable auto complete with google API” and if I turn it on is all 4 fields, the first one “street address” is filled up with the full address and the other fields (City, state and zip) are not.

I can use the field type “address” and they all the sub fields are filled up correctly, however, when I get the information via email and it goes to google sheet, the address is not in 4 separate fields. Also on google sheet the address was not there like any other fields.

For me I can use either 4 fields that can be fully filled up with the city state and zip, or have one field only that allow us to use the Custom Sub-Label as independent fields to be added in our google sheet with address, city, state and zip in 4 separated columns.

I have installed the plugin added the API Key. I am getting a line of exclamation point icons when I type anything into the address field in a form using Stripe Payment Add-On. It works with non-payment forms.

Is there a compatibility issue with creating a payment form using the Stripe Add-On?

I want to have the address data fill into all the fields on my Step 2 page. The problem is it will not let me send a query string unless I have all of the address fields showing, not just single line address.

Is there a way for me to style the form so I can “hide” the extra fields in the address so I can still show just single line on my landing page, but still send the query string so it populates the full address on the next form?

I’ve found if I revert the &loading=async addition on line 31 in class-frontend.php then the forms work again including address autofill.

Any thoughts on why this might be? Or anyone else having issues?

I am experiencing a compatibility issue with the Gravity Forms Address Autocomplete plugin when using forms that have conditional logic enabled.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enable the Gravity Forms Address Autocomplete plugin.
2. Create a new form in Gravity Forms with a checkbox or radio button field.
3. Add an address field that uses conditional logic to appear when the checkbox/radio is selected, and ensure auto complete with Google places API is enabled.
4. Open a new incognito browser window and load the page with the form.
5. Observe that the form does not appear until the page is refreshed.
6. Deactivate the Address Autocomplete via Google for Gravity Forms plugin.
7. Open a new incognito browser window again and load the page with the form.
8. Observe that the form appears correctly without needing a page refresh.

Observations

• The issue occurs consistently when the plugin is activated and does not occur when the plugin is deactivated.
• The issue is specific to incognito sessions and first-time page loads.

Anyone else having this issue? I’ve confirmed it is an issue on two different websites. Any guidance or updates to the plugin that address this problem would be greatly appreciated!

I’d like to add the following functionality:

1. Hide other address fields until a suggestion is selected.
2. Add a permanent suggestion: “Enter Address Manually”. If visitor selects this, auto suggest will turn off and all address fields will display so visitor can fill out manually

Is this possible?

I have it autosuggesting in the Street address 1 field (part of the GF address field). However when I select a suggesting, if populates all results into Street Address 1, rather than zip, county, country. Is there a trick to getting this part to work?

On this page, once the space is entered on the street address field, it jumps to the top of the page and shows some other fields data. We don’t see this issue on the other forms are not using your plugin.

Is it possible to change how the address info is pulled from Google’s API? We need the street number and the street separately, which Google’s API has the capability to provide but out of the box this plugin just puts it all on the Street line. Any way to modify the plugin to do this and save it separately?

Is it possible to return only the City, State and Zip Code, separated by the pipe character, instead of the full address?

For some reason, the maps api is no longer working on a site. Getting the error “This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.” Wondering if it is an issue with google? FYI it’s January 1st, so who knows.. Are others having this issue?

In a future release, can you add an option in the admin to use the short_name in the State/Region/Province field? Right now it uses the long_name from Google Places API.

hi so auto complete plugin works only on desk top not mobile

Ho do I enable multiple form support for 1 page? Currently, Google locations suggestion only works on 1 form and I have 3 sitting on the same page with the same ID. I’m using GF 2.6.4 and GF Address Autocomplete version 4.0.

If you need this, for countries like Australia where we mainly use the abbreviation of the state names like NSW.

Love the improved user experience this provides. However, there is a bad experience issue when the browser’s built-in auto-complete overlaps the Google address complete. So you get 2 menus that appear, the browser menu on top of the Google address complete menu.

Is there any way to disable the browser’s option from appearing just on the address fields?

Obviously, this will vary from the different browsers.
