How can I do that?
I have tried so many snippets and css but cannot figure it out.

I am trying to create a sentence with fields between words that are filled in with calculations but I need to adjust the column widths with CSS so that the words flow correctly and don’t have huge gaps or bunch up.

Is there a simple way to adjust the column widths with CSS?

I looked and couldn’t find anything explaining how to do it.

I have checkboxes in the left column.

When a box is checked, I want the content to display in the RIGHT column.

It does – thanks for making such an awesome plugin!

BUT the columns OVERLAP so that the content on the right is over laid over top of the left column.

How can I fix this?

Hi guys,

we are using your cool plugin for some more complex forms we have built.

But one thing we keep running into is this:
GravityForms itself has the option to place fields side by side.

But as soon as we add a row via your fields, this is not working anymore.
As soon as those fields are in the form, all fields display below eachother.

Is this a known limitation? Can you help to resolve this?

I’ve run into an issue with multicolumn where in if I activate the JS file it applies the display hidden to the gform_wrapper thus hiding the entire form.

I did see a previous topic similar to this but the response pointed to nested fields plugin being the issue so don’t believe it is that.

The form uses multipage and Gravity wiz GoogleAPI Address plugin.

Any help on this would be great!

your plugins works perfectly on our website. We just have a small bug with the button of the scrolling fields ( see departement field… for example). the button seems to be slightly outside the field itself…

There is a field to add a custom class name to MCGF fields (screenshot), but they don’t appear to get output in the markup (screenshot)

Should they be getting output here?

I added the columns to my gravity form. However, the send button stays outside the columns. I can’t drag it inside.

As a result, the button aligns on the left of the page. However, I need it to float underneath the final text box.

I am using Gravity Form 2.6.3.

I have installed your plugin and added the Row Start field but when I try to save my form, the Save process appears to be in an endless loop. If I deactivate the plugin, Save works.

I have exported the form and system status and sent it to [email protected]

How can we remove the muti-column fields from Entries?

The all seem to print out on the Entries. Is there a way to avoid this?

‘The update button in Gravity Forms no longer functions. After making changes to a form, I hit the update button, and no change happens in the editor nor on the page where the form is hosted.’

We have viewed previous entries in this support column regarding turning off no conflict mode but after testing the issue still occurs. By deactivating Multiple Columns for Gravity Forms in plugins the user can save the updated fields.

Since today I receive the stack trace error Uncaught DivisionByZeroError. It doesn’t open the frontend form.

To my knowledge it means something is being divided by zero. The error is coming from here:

\WH_GF_Multicolumn_Public_Form_Current.php on line 170

I see there’s a formula dividing columns widths:

$columnWidth = is_numeric( ( 100 - $columnWidthCount ) / $this->rowColumnArray[ $this->rowCounter ] ) ? floor( ( 100 - $columnWidthCount ) / $this->rowColumnArray[ $this->rowCounter ] ) : 1;

Might this conflict involve theme settings? Any idea where to look at and what is being done here?

Have two sites with this installed. One is fine after the update (so far).

The other crashed fatally and had to go into recovery mode to deactivate the plugin. WP cannot delete the plugin so it says so I left deactivated.

I’m still seeing the Divide by Zero message when testing your plugin locally even after updating to 4.0.

Is there a way with the CSS to adjust the individual column widths verses them being evenly distributed?

I have a date field that is bigger than it needs to be but a time field that is squished so the AM/PM is below the time.

I have a large number of PHP notices being thrown on my forms pages with this plugin active. I confirmed we’re running the most recent version of this plugin (4.0.0) along with Gravity Forms 2.5.15 (which I believe is also the most recent version).

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in \\SERVER\MYSITE\wp-content\plugins\gf-form-multicolumn\includes\public\WH_GF_Multicolumn_Public_Form_Current.php on line 90

This is repeated a number of times complaining about the offset of 1, then repeats a number of times for offset 2, all the way up to offset 6. In total I have 69 notices being thrown above the rendering of the form.

Line 90 appears to be

When I move gravity form plugin from plugins folder to mu-plugins folder, your plugin will not working and show a warning Warning: fopen({our_path}/plugins/gravityforms/gravityforms.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in {our_path}/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6461

Both plugins are latest version.

Since the last update 4,0,0 it seems that forms using multi-page are broken with multiple column :
On the first page you get a previous button + the second page “next” button in addition to the normal “next” button of the first page.
Multiple columns never show

CSS option is checked / JS is unchecked (if checked the entire form is broken and doesn’t appear)

The link given doesn’t show the error beaches I downgrade to previous version with works perfectly (it’s a payement form and we are in a subscription period).

If you have two forms on the same page, and they are both using the new drag and drop columns built into GF, if the column plugin based form is on that page it will break the drag and drop layout. of the forms. I think the css class rules are too loose and just effect affect every form on the page instead of just the form I’m wanting.

I have a form with about 5 separate 2 column fields. It’s based on a multisite. It gives the javascript error

Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token

When disabling your plugin, everything works fine. It seems to look like it breaks on this snippet:

I believe the &\#\0\3\8; are the bad parts. Any idea how to resolve this? I added slashes to this forumpost because it breaks in this forumeditor.

Great plugin, really let me manage columns — especially more than 4 which I wasn’t able to do with BF intrinsic functionality.

I’m having one issue though. While gaps are removed on fields hidden w/conditional logic, the gaps still appear if the section is hidden (and therefore the fields contained therein) and not the individual fields.

My console is showing a “Uncaught ReferenceError: gfFormsAddConditionalColumns is not defined” error wherever a form is used when this plugin is active.

I am also unable to use gravity forms drag and drop column breaks if this plugin is active. Is this not possible? All fields made with gravity forms built-in columns stack on top of each other

I have two pages where the same form is embedded.
The form use your plugin for multiple columns.

In the first page, everything is working correctly:

In the second page, the form is ignoring the multicolumn layout (only from a certain point ahead):

It’s seems that needed css file (https://www.circolobdr.it/wp-content/plugins/gf-form-multicolumn/includes/public/css/gf-form-multicolumn.css) is included in the first page but not in the second.

The plugin has a hardcoded path which causes issues on WP installations that have a different file structure.

The message is:
Warning: fopen(/path/to/site/web/wp/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/gravityforms.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory

This error is caused by:
gf-form-multicolumn/includes/public/WH_GF_Multicolumn_Public_Form_Current.php
in
WH\GF\Multicolumn\Site\WH_GF_Multicolumn_Public_Form_Current::structure_form_elements at line 120.
