Everything works well, but I have partial enteries enabled, whenever I someone uses a generic email (which is blocked) i.e. [email protected] it doesn’t send out partial entries as well.
I want the partial enteries.
Is there a way?
Came looking to see if the use of wildcards was doable. Saw a closed topic from almost a year ago with the exact same question and used the example I was going to use .. needing to block any email with a .ru
i.e. *.ru
Has there been any progress made on being able to use wildcards?
]]>Hi there,
Does this work with the latest version of the Gravity Forms form builder? I activated the plugin but am not seeing an option anywhere to specify the blocked domains when adding an email field. The screenshot on the plugin page appears to be for the old version of the form builder so I wasn’t sure. I’m using Gravity Forms 2.6.3.
Thanks for your help.
]]>Validation does not work when 2 email inputs (2nd one is email confirmation). Do you have an idea how to fix this?
]]>Hi we’ve been using your plugin for a bit with great success, but it looks like some emails are still able to sneak through if they aren’t all lowercase. So [email protected] or [email protected] is still getting through. Is there a way to make the checks case insensitive?
]]>Hi there,
I just installed your plugin. First it didn’t work as I installed it on a multi-site setup. Deactivating in the network and just activating on a single page worked fine though. Was just wondering if that might be worth mentioned in the notes.
Thanks for the plugin, though!
So, if I’m disallowing *@yahoo.com, or something like that, and a user types in [email protected] as their email address, Gravity forms throws a validation error on submit.
However, despite that, their Hubspot integration is still processing the feed. I’m wondering if this is an email problem or a Hubspot integration problem – regardless, though, the feed is processing when it shouldn’t. Either the validation is happening too late in the process or the feed is processing too early.
Would you be able to help me sort this out?
]]>Love the idea, and it seems to work to block submit, however on a valid submit it is throwing an error on the confirmation message
]]>It looks like the plugin is way outdated or abandoned by its author. Absolutely not working with WordPress 5.5 and Gravity Forms 2.5.16
When the Gravity form is being submitted the plugin causes the website to crash.
Also, it triggers a warning “integer expected, but array passed” in file gravityforms-block-email-domains.php line 33
I tested the plugin on the fresh WordPress installation with the Gravity Forms only plugin along with the Gravity Forms Block Email Domains.
Hey There,
Found your plugin which has been insanely helpful. One item I noticed was that unfortunately the plugin is case sensitive.
Meaning if I block @gmail.com if someone submits @gmail.COM or any variation of @gmail.com the condition is never met. Would be great if there was a check that could be built into the plugin.
]]>Hello,
Does this plugin work with the latest Gravity Forms version? I have installed and activated it but no settings appear in the advanced tab under email. The screenshots in the plugin show the older version of Gravity Forms, so maybe it doesn’t work with 2.5+?
Thanks!
]]>Hi,
Am I able to use wildcards e.g. *.ru ?
Thanks
Amanda
Is there a way to block a single email address and not the entire gmail domain?
]]>This plugin will block emails as expected and display the validation message.
However, used in conjunction with Gravity Forms Hubspot plugin, the validation message is displayed but the Hubspot feed is still fired. This leads to the form data being submitted to Hubspot despite the validation of email domain failing.
I had reached out to Gravity Forms and they had suggested this is an issue with the Gravity Forms Block Email Domains plugin.
Please advise,
Thanks!
