]]>Thanks a lot for your great plug-in. It’s the best print solution for me.
I have applied the extra code you supply to not print urls by adding it in a print-additions.css to my child theme’s root folder, and it works fine. But as I try to print a page with list items the title=”” tag in the url is printed. You can check here:
]]>Good morning,
I have installed the plugin which works fairly well for a child theme for Genesis. But when printing out, some of the header element links still show up, and there is a large empty gap before the article begins on the printouts. I have installed the print-additions.css file with the recommended content, but this did not solve the problem.
What is showing up from the header is the links for the social media buttons, and the link to amazon from a banner plugin called WPFront, which displays a banner ad at the top of all pages.
I know just the minimum css, and can work on instructions, doing copy and paste, but tracking down this problem is beyond me.

Your help is appreciated.

]]>How do I get my header to print? I am not savvy with CSS so it may be simple but nothing I have tried will get the header to print. I just have a large whitespace area.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Hi,
I am wondering whether this is still compatible with new versions of WordPress.
]]>Hi David,
I’m using this plugin and it works really well when I’m printing out pages. However, it’s causing a weird effect where the type sizes across a whole page are rendering much larger than they should be. In my theme, i have font sizes setup like this:
html {
font-size: 62.5%; /* 10px browser default */
}
body {
font-size: 16px;
font-size: 1.6rem;
}
And subsequent CSS uses the same pixel fallback to sizing type in rem. I think the font-size: 62.5%
is getting set to 100% at some point. Looking at the inspector in Chrome, body fonts are rendering at 26px (calculated as 1.6rem * 16px browser default) rather than 16px (calculated as 1.6rem * 10px, 16.5% of 16px browser default).
Other weird part, is it’s random. Not every page renders this way. And the pages that do show up with giant type only do it sometimes. Here are some links:

Thanks for your help and your many contributions to the Genesis community.
]]>Hi,
First of all, THANK YOU for such a great plugin. I have used it extensively over the years on every Genesis site that I am involved with.
I noticed on this most recent update that the content on subpages is clipped on the left side about 50-60 pixels. The home page content appears to print correctly, so it is just the subpages that have the issue.
Here is the link:

I do appreciate any help you can offer!

I am using this plugin and it gives great result.
However, it would be much better, if I could reduce the header margin.
P.S.: I have disabled to show site title and description.
]]>I am using this plugin with print-additions.css. Everything is going fine as desired. But I am having trouble to remove all URLs from the print copy.
Please suggest how I can remove links from the print?
]]>Great plug in!
I am just wondering how I can keep a line of text from being split by a page break. The top of the sentence is on one page and the bottom is on the next. Is there a way to keep a bottom “safe area” on each page?
thanks!
]]>Just installed the latest version of Genesis Printstyle Plus and find it is not working correctly with Genesis eleven40Pro theme.
On page with left sidebar (secondary)e.g. the About page), all content is cut off on the left margin of the main article. Whereas, on page without left sidebar (secondary) (e.g., the Education page), the content prints correctly.
However, on all pages, part of the page url is showing on the same line as the header title.
Any suggestions for these two problems?

]]>Hi Dave,
I have used this plugin before and worked like a charm on another site. However I have just completed a large school site, and need a function to be able to print out the events calendar nicely. However this does not seem to help.
I wonder if you might know of a solution for this.
Site/page in question: https://www.stpetersgirls.sa.edu.au/calendar/elc-calendar/

]]>Hi David, thank you for all of your good help for the Genesis Community. I am using G2 with Agency. The only way I can get Print Style towork is if single view articles are printed in landscape mode. Even this wat site title (header left) is truncated.
If I try to print in portrait, the left side gets truncated. If I try to scale content area gets smaller but moves to left of paper v staying centered and fitting in the printed page.
Are there any css fixes for Agency?
Thanks in advance.

I am using WordPress 3.6, Genesis 2.0 framework and the Agency theme.
Thank you very much!
]]>Hello,
I just installed this plugin however when I open the Posts I do not see a ‘Print’ button or a ‘Print’ link.
How will my site visitors print a Post please?
Thank you so much!
]]>Hi David,
We are currently using the Genesis Agency theme and JetPack.
JetPack printing really sucks by the way (includes sidebars and other unnecessary items. I’ve notified them but to no avail. So we want to shut off this module of JetPack and replace it with a print plugin that works.
Mostly we want it to print our individual Posts in a professional manner.
Do you know if this plugin is compatible with the Agency theme?
]]>Just installed this – works great out of the box!
Only issue I have is it is printing links in HTML code, like this:
Linked Words <www.link.com>

Tested on Chrome

When we run weblink validator, it gives a 404 error/broken link in wp-content/plugins/genesis-printstyle-plus/css/none
After doing some searching, I found the problem in wp-content/plugins/genesis-printstyle-plus/css/print.css:
In the css for body the current background: is background: #fff url(none) !important; url(none) is what is causing the error/broken link. The line below background is handling it correctly (background-image: none !important;) Can you please remove url(none) from background: so that updates will not overwrite the changes I have made?
Thanks

]]>Hi, thought I’d mention this as it took me a few minutes to realise what had gone wrong.
In your FAQs (the 1st question) regarding customized print stylesheets the filename spelling is wrong. It’s print-additons.css
when it should be print-additions.css
.
I just copied and pasted that file name when creating the file so obviously it didn’t work until I’d realised the typo.
Thought I’d give you a heads up.
Cheers for the plugin. Works great. Especially being able to add customisations easily.
