Hi,
I really need to use this plugin but my problem is I want the featured post which will be before the teaser having an image bigger than a thumbnail. The problem is whatever size I chose, after I have saved, it automatically put back thumbnail size..
How can I prevent that to happens?
Thanks
]]>Hi,
I love the way this plugin sets up my homepage with one featured post and a list of teasers – I like the format better than any other plugin I’ve seen. My only problem is, once I installed the plugin, the teasers now each have two “read more” buttons. It looks like there is one button that my child theme automatically adds when I show an excerpt, and one button put in by the plugin. Is there any way to remove the plugin’s button?
Thanks,
Lisa
]]>I know this has been asked a couple times in this forum, but no official answer has been provided from the plugin developer. How to get this to display on both the Home page and the Archives pages? It should really be a checkbox to mark off which ones to display on, not a one-choice-only dropdown. I love this plugin, but this is a major flaw.
]]>The plugin is doing what I want on the home page, but I think it is messing with things on archive pages.
Is there any way I can get this plugin to either:
Work on both the home page and archive pages with different settings?
Or, leave the genesis code alone so I can add a ‘read more’ button on archive pages
The Genesis snippet of code for modifying the read-more link isn’t working with this installed (https://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-excerpts/). I’m still investigating other solutions…

]]>Installed this plugin on a site with WP 3.6, Genesis 2.0 and Lifestyle theme (home page not widgetized).
I had it set up to show one full post with 10 teasers following. 10 full posts show at the top, and then the first post is repeated (in full) with 10 teasers (again repeat posts from the top) at the bottom.
So I guess it is working but it is not supposed to show the 10 full posts at the top. Is there any resolution to this?
Thanks in advance!
]]>I have tried this plug in with Jetpack mobile theme as well as WordPress Mobile Pack and i get teh same error. Fatal error call to undefined function ….genesis-post-teasers.php on line 269 I wonder if there is a fix for this yet?
]]>Love this plugin except that I can’t change the number of teaser posts displayed on the Home page.
No matter what I put into the settings (character limit, number of posts to be shown), only 5 teaser posts are shown.
I’m using the Prose theme and would like to have an even number (6) posts shown in two columns.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
Thank you.

]]>Just upgraded my sites that use this great plugin and it completely hides all blog posts now. Using Genesis Version: 1.9.1. Any chance of checking this out? One of them is https://www.rebarcampnewyork.com. I’ve disabled it on the others. Any ideas?

]]>First of all, thanks for this plugin and the others you published. I particularly appreciate the Genesis Visual Hook Guide.
As for this one, I also like it but I notice that the paragraph breaks as well as the bullet list formating is stripped from the posts when using the plugin.
It might make sense for the teasers but this stripping is also applied to the featured posts and this, in my opinion, is a serious drawback.
Is it a feature or a bug? ??
Are you planning some further improvements of this plugin?

]]>I just installed this, and it works great on whichever type of page it’s enabled to handle. The problem is, I want it to be enabled not only on the Home Page, but on the Blog Template and Archives pages as well.
The plugin’s dropdown menu lets me choose only one of those options — not all three. Is there any way to enable the plugin on all relevant pages short of hacking into the plugin’s PHP myself?

Is it possible to edit somewhere to have more then the two default columns? Would love 3 or 4!

]]>I have installed the plugin and have selected to use on Home Page in the Genesis settings but it’s showing up as a grid on all of the other pages. I only want the loop to work on the home page and for every other page to be regular style – showing full post and content like normal.
How do I achieve this?

]]>I just wasted my time uninstalling a post teaser plugin I could have worked with, because I thought your solution would be easier and faster to use. I noticed the name “Genesis” in the plugin name, so I looked through your install notes and FAQ to see if Genesis framework was needed. Nothing said, so I assumed I did not need it (I don’t have genesis). So now, I have to uninstall and go back to the old post teaser I was using and reconfigure everything. Thanks a lot.
Your install notes and FAQ:
Upload the entire genesis-post-teasers folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Navigate to the Genesis > Theme Settings menu
Configure Options for ‘Homepage Teasers’
What happens when I select Use Plugin CSS?
This plug in adds additional markup to style the post teasers. Selecting ‘Child Theme CSS’ will not load any the CSS provided in the plugin and requires you to add your own to your child theme’s style.css. By default The post teasers will be displayed in pairs side by side.
The plug in seems to have done nothing for my site
This Plugin will not work with widgetized homepages. If your homepage is widgetized try selecting “Archive” or “Blog Template”.

]]>This plugin is a wonderful thing, but, can it only be used on the home page? Genesis is already very flexible, but this, if it could be added to a “Blog” page, or other, like categories etc, would be wonderful, maybe it is just me, but I have not found how to do it. Is it possible? Thanks for your help.
