The plugin is now compatible with Genesis 3.0, with the settings moved to the customizer to stay in line with the new direction Genesis has taken. Please update to use it with the updated version of Genesis!

After the recent update to Genesis, the Genesis Custom Footer is not accessible to anyone to update. To get back to the Genesis Full Page settings to access Genesis Custom Footer – download, install and activate this plugin – https://github.com/billerickson/BE-Genesis-Theme-Settings. It will restore the full page Genesis Settings.

The plugin generated 221 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

This is similar to the last issue. How do I get the correct format. Using the answer in the last topic I find all the information is on the left. I would like to leave the top of page on the left and put the copyright on the right. How would I do that?
]]>Love the plugin, Andrea! Not sure if I think it’s faster than just putting it in the functions file, which is what I normally do, but I think I’ll start using it!
I do have a few pieces of default text that I wondered if you might add that are typically used in my sites (and probably, in many people’s sites):
- Site title
- Child theme developer link
- Site description
Figured these might be easy to add, and if so, that would be great!
]]>Hi there. Using Genesis Sample. My site url is being redirected to the existing site, so you won’t be able to see it. I changed the footer bg color and text color in CSS, but after installing the custom footer plugin, the colors are defaulting back to original. Any ideas why this might be happening?
