I’m running into a react error in the console log when using a Profile block in a reusable pattern on WP 6.6.1. Issue isn’t present on WP 6.5.5 and immediately appears after updating core.

I am working on a website using the Pricing block on a page that shows nothing but 3 columns, 3 rows of products.

I deleted a product from the 2nd row and would like to move up a single product from row 3 to that empty space in row 2 and – can’t do it.

I’ve got my products styled just so and would rather be able to duplicate a single product – aka Pricing Column – and place it elsewhere. Can’t do that like I can with so many (all?) other blocks. Is this by design? What do I do? Suck it up and copy and paste all over again?

I would like to set up a page which displays the latest blog posts in a grid format, with an excerpt of the post/author, and an image – but I do not want these images to be the Featured Image that is in the post, and I would like to be able to set a custom image to be displayed for each post on the grid summary page.

Is there a way or plugin that would do this? I’ve searched all the forums without a specific solution to this that works unfortunately.

Suddenly, when I go to edit any of my pages on my WordPress site (running the Monochrome Pro theme), I’m getting the error: Your site doesn’t include support for the “genesis-blocks/gb-columns” block. You can leave this block intact, convert its content to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.

This has never happened before, and this site has been operational for going on two years.

The one thing I did do today was to install the meta pixel plugin. Any chance this conflicts and could have caused it?

Looking for any solution, as I have to immediately add new pages and really am not sure the best way to proceed.

I’m facing a problem while editing the HTML of certain blocks, such as ‘Advanced Columns’ or ‘Container’ blocks. This issue is significantly impacting my workflow as I rely on automation to generate content, and this particular functionality is crucial for me.

To illustrate, after inserting an ‘Advanced Columns’ block and opting to ‘Edit as HTML’, I can seamlessly switch back to ‘Edit Visually’ with WordPress displaying the visual blocks correctly.

The problem arises when I add a simple paragraph to the block and then try to switch back to visual editing. At this point, Gutenberg crashes and displays the error message: “This block contains unexpected or invalid content.”

Attempts to fix this via ‘Attempt Block Recovery’ have been fruitless, as it only reverts the block to its previous state, without preserving my changes. Similarly, the ‘Resolve’ option in the three-dot menu fails to solve the issue.

In summary, preserving changes when switching from HTML editing back to visual mode is currently unachievable.

After a recent update, the Accordion block became unavailable to add to new posts/pages. It still displays on pages where it already exists.

Is it being eliminated, or is this an unplanned omission?

Hello. The Genesis Blocks Plugin is breaking the checkout field that is coming from Woocommerce. The drop downs to choose a state or country do not work unless the plugin is deactivated. Everything is up to date.

I’ve installed the genesis framework and craving pro theme. i’ve followed instructions to import all data and widgets. everything imported well and works but i can’t edit any page. i keep getting this error :

Having a bit of a problem with the latest update causing a fatal error. I’m getting a notice that the site require a version greater than 8.1.0 but I’m actually running 8.2.10

“The only thing we did in the 3.0.1 release is bump the required PHP version to8.1“

That would imply that it would not be really necessary to update – or do you mean that the code was changed in such a way that it will not work in prior PHP versions?

Will 3.0.0 installations on PHP 7.x with auto-updates enabled install 3.0.1 or will it abort when PHP 7 is detected?

I am seeing fatal errors after update to 3.0.1

PHP Fatal error: Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 8.1.0”. You are running 8.0.30. in …/files/wp-content/plugins/genesis-blocks/vendor/composer/platform_check.php on line 24

Updating to PHP 8.1 resolves the issue, but we have some sites that need to stay on PHP 8.0 for the time being.

With Twitter rebranding itself to X, is there any chance of changing the icon used in the Share block to reflect the change too?

I’m seeing a large number of error notices after updating to 3.0.0 (on dozens of sites I manage). They all look like:

I’m seeing it for the following blocks:

• genesis-blocks/gb-columns
• genesis-blocks/gb-accordion
• genesis-blocks/gb-post-grid

There may be others, as I haven’t checked all of the Genesis Blocks (those are three I just happen to use regularly).

In addition, those blocks no longer show up when attempting to insert blocks.

This is causing some pretty major issues on my end, as it’s making some page layouts extremely difficult to edit, if not destructive should a user decide to convert it to HTML.

Pease help I can not find accordion blocks after updating to the Version 3.0.0

The plug-in received a new update and when I updated it broke my site. Did anyone else experience this? I was able to enter recovery mode attempt to update the plug-in again, but it broke my site again. I would like to keep using this plug-in, but this issue needs to be fixed. It seems there are only two alignment options now for the container block – “none” and centered. What happened to wide width and full width?

Advanced columns – on mobile right column always goes below the left one.

When I have my text on the left side and image on the right side, I need the left one to go below on smaller screens.

The only one solution I can think of is for the columns to float right.

Is there any built in functionality for that? I was not able to find anything in the options/setting of the block.
