The plugin is not translatable! The .pot file is not useful! Lots of strings are not in .pot. As a result it’s impossible to translate and load the translations of the plugin. I also tried to translate it using Loco Translate! But the .pot-generated file using Loco is incomplete! It is impossible to translate the plugin into other languages! Both the free and pro versions are not translate-ready! Lots of different people from other languages want to use the free and buy the pro version of this plugin, but it is not completely translatable! Why?

Love this and have been using it for years. I use it together with the theme Generatepress, a great and perfect combination/extension. The blocks were a little more beginner-friendly to use before the latest re-build. But when I learn the new flex-controls I understand this is better, leaner, faster and more flexible. The grid block makes it easy to construct a tiled layout or 2 unequal columns to form a sidebar. These are responsive so, for example, if there are 3 tiles across the page, as the width is reduced the layout changes to 2 tiles, then one. Initially setting up the tiles is a bit complicated. One needs to add one tile (container), set all its options (width, padding, border, background, etc) then duplicate it as many times as required. It would be useful to be able to set properties for all the containers in a grid at once. Navigation can get a bit confusing and it’s easy to add an extra container unintentionally. One has to keep an eye on the breadcrumbs at the bottom of the edit screen, or switch to the document overview. I haven’t used any other blocks in the plugin.

Came to GenerateBlocks via GeneratePress. The combination of these two have made a world of difference for my site. Core Web Vitals have improved across the board, and I am able to do with CSS and this plugin much of what I did with many plugins. Ended up going with the Pro version. No regrets on this one.

The great thing about this plugin is that all you need is a few powerful blocks that offer great flexibility in design settings that allows for building complex layouts and design components without the need for a bunch preset blocks like how almost all other block design plugins are setup – notably the container block and grid block. With the powerful few blocks, I can create pretty much most of the design layouts and modules. There are a couple feature I wish available. Will post a message in support forum for that.

I had to leave a review just because of how stupid the one-star review I saw is below. Inside the dashboard Generateblocks only has links to documentation, because you use blocks inside the editor, not the dashboard! There are minimal settings because the blocks are lightweight and just do what they say. It’s very clear what everything does.
These blocks add some needed functionality to what is included with WordPress without adding huge weight to the CSS like most blocks. Generatepress developers are very responsive to questions, they always get back to me the same day if I have an issue. I would be embarrassed if I had written a 1-star review for this great plugin.

Second edit: I downgraded back down to 1-star. This entire experience has been frustrating between the plugin’s lack of documentation to the developer, who seems to want to just endlessly argue about why I gave him a bad review.
Edit: Okay, I figured this out. My confusion was because the developer very unfortunately named a feature in GeneratePress called Blocks and then named a plugin called GenerateBlocks. FYI: my confusion would have been less with better documentation. Such as how to USE this plugin, e.g. the information (that I later found) located in the FAQs on the WordPress plugin page.
Original: This plugin looks like it should work, but it does absolutely nothing. The “Dashboard” only shows links to the documentation.

A small request: Why don't you make <strong>Generateblock Pro</strong> a bit more visible, place ads in some attention-grabbing areas like Plugins page, Elements page, etc. I am saying this because I didn't know there was a Pro plugin. Maybe it's just me.
Just like GP, people would love to buy the pro version without a second thought because it's just incredible.
