Very good experience, this plugin has some cool futures inside.

Hello, Thank you for making this plugin and enabling WP websites better relations with a legal regulation and customers as well.
I agree there are several possible issues and found that it is necessary to exclude gdpr-public.js and gdpr-public.css from scripts optimizations, disable security cookie scan/sanitization and so, the plugin will work.
Tested with WP 4.99

The cookie consent banner’s OK button does not work some times.

We use this plugin as standard now on all WP websites we develop at Opace. Before the GDPR legislation came into force, I searched long and hard for a solution that would provide all of the necessary compliance measures and tested various plugins. Some provided part solutions and others simply failed to work. Finding one that provided a full cookie compliance and consent management solution was difficult. There are a lot of options and features available with this plugin, but it’s one that I would highly recommend for any website owner.

I don’t understand why this plugin is having sooo many updates, like sometimes every day. My Wordfence is keeping on giving me email alerts (because that is what it does) on every single plugin update and this plugin is one of the highest, for updates (sometimes every single day). Imagine if you have many sites, then all of them having Wordfence keeps on “spamming” you with alerts. And usually, it is this plugin (and a few others).
Why don’t you just update several iterations in the background, and then only put out the plugin for update on the WordPress platform. Instead of every single little change, followed by immediate upload :-/
Don’t get me wrong. Updating is good, like rain upon the earth, but too many updates is like too much rain every day, leading to a flood.

This plugin helps you out patching up the GDPR compliance functionality missing in Word Press for free! To use it first you need to understand the GDPR consumer rights. Many thanks to the developer for his great work!

Working fine for a while, then was having issues with Security Token after accepting the privacy policy. Lost a lot of business and need to move on to another solution.

Great plugin for cookies control. Need to know a bit of coding, any case a great plugin.

I am using this plugin on my website. I am very satisfied with its performance.
Lots of GDPR plugins are available but this is the best. Lots of settings are available. You can display Privacy policy and cookies policy. You can also categorise the cookies and give your users the right to choose that they want to participate in analytics, advertisements or not. Very useful plugin.
Kudos to the developers. Keep up the good work.

For beginners as i am, this plugin works perfectly .
Thank you for sharing it.

It does just what it needs to do. Congrats to the developers for this plugin.
Still, it is a pity this plugin cannot automatically pick up or tell you what cookies your own site uses. It would be nice for non-developers to access this information since it is also needed.
Nevertheless, great job.

The plugin has a nice design. It even contemplates how to prevent UI/UX from falling.
I rate it a 4/5 for two reasons.
1. I feel as if it could be much more for UI/UX sake.
2. ReCaptcha doesn’t work, and prevents users from accessing the site.

This plugin has caused twice fatal error. Can’t recommend.

This plugin is certainly not so easy but I think it’s the most powerful free GDPR plugin in the WordPress repository. It’s still in development and so I hope It’ll be better someday. I’m using it in 12 websites (8 online) and I’ve nothing to complain.
Kudos to the Devs!

This plugin was rated very good, but I don′t understand it why…
This plugin is only for programmers who can modify their Themes
as functions have to be added to enable or disable external Cookies
from Facebook or Google, etc…
It is really no easy solution..
Also the setup page is complicated and it does not allow to enable or disable these cookies…
Also it has no automatic detection what Cookies are set and this must be done manually which a newbie will not get done…
So this might only work out for programmers, who know how to enable and disable their external cookies from Facbook and Google, but to do it with this plugin you need to change you template and add some PHP function code… Not very user friendly…

At a first glance it seems to be not exactly a user-friendly plugin. But it is rich in resources and is surely worth a try. Helpful, addressed all the needs of my site.

This review could have been 5-star ONLY if I was able to install it. However, I just found out that the plugin is not PHP backward compatible. The plugin will cause fatal error if the PHP version is below 5.6.
My hosting PHP version is 5.4.45 and I am unable to use this tool.

Great job! Well done, very polished and organized, give a very professional look to the website, developer always active to give support… and free? hats off to you. reading some bad review here and as a developer myself it’s irritating sometimes, you do something for free, try to help, and people can’t appreciate it, then gives one star because he doesn’t know how to fill the settings form, pathetic… People should learn how to use review systems, this is not to vent your frustration and get attention for a bug or your own ignorance, that’s why you have support sections where you can ask questions and ask for help, the review system is to give as the name says a REVIEW of what you think about the whole thing, and not about the specific problem you are having, if after looking for support you can’t resolve your issue then, and only then, you could give some developer a bad review. Thanks again mate, keep up the good work!

According to the GDPR, the fields can never be in checked status by default, and the user experience is not good. It is not clear where each part will be displayed, and if it is being filled, if that is useful to be shown or not.
My suggestion is… reorder forms settings, group the options and avoid this chaotic management.

Very grateful for this, bit of a struggle setting up, but I appear to be slowly getting there. You really need to get your donate page up soon, so we can bribe you into improving the docs that will make it a bit more obvious to us less techy types

Fantastic plugin! ??
]]>Rating: 4 stars
Of all of the GDPR plugins I have tested recently this one is better than most; but suffers from lack of documentation particularly around the cookies setup.
It would also be beneficial to have examples of pages which provide users with the ability to request data or data erasure, as there is currently only mention of the need to use shortcodes.
It would be good to know what the plans are to integrate with WordPress 4.9.6 as well as WooCommerce 3.4 both of which include their own GDPR functionality
