Hi, this plugin looks nice and I am thinking of installing it. Could you just tell me whether it works on multi-lingual sites? My site uses the plugin MultilingualPress. Do you know whether GDPR Cookies Pro is compatible with this plugin? Thanks for your help ??

]]>Estimated. A few days ago I “defended tooth and nail” your plugin but now, unfortunately, I’m here to criticize it ??
Or, to show you what may be for you, an opportunity for improvement.
I will explain to you.
If you look at one of the comments that precede me (the one that talks about … “it does not work in European countries” or something like that), I explained to the commenter, as I had done, based on your comments (in that More thread in another that you mention that … “you lack compression in your javascript” … or something like that ??
As I said …
If you notice, what I did was: Download your plugin to my computer, compress the JS files and upload them again along with the rest of the files and … voila!
I mean, it was working absolutely perfect (as I mention in that thread) … until WordPress 5.6 came out! ??
You’ll see. I have a shared hosting and here, they are quite “picky” with the issue of updates.
Ergo, as soon as the last WordPress arrived (5.6) I proceeded to update it and boom! Instead of generating a coke bar, your plugin generates this horrible message …
Notice: Undefined variable: gdprcp_content in /home/atutra19/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gdpr-cookies-pro/gdpr-cookies-pro.php on line 275
As you understand, I had to eliminate it because, it is not good that my public read such “ugly” things at the bottom of my articles, heh!
However, I insist that it is the only free plugin that met (so far) with ALL my expectations, in terms of: Creating a “simple and light” cocktail bar and that, as it “promises”, appears (or appeared) exactly where it had to appear (in EU countries).
Therefore, I propose the following:
In 1st. Instead, I am NOT going to add any other plugin because, after all, in my Country (Argentina) the RGPD is NOT mandatory.
See if, with the information I am sending you, you can solve it and, if so, let me know so that I can reinstall it, do you think?
And, while you’re there, remember what I mentioned in that other commenter’s thread about … “I had to compress the javascript files one by one and it worked!” … and, send them compressed, go ahead?
Whatever you decide, thanks for the effort.
See you!
]]>Awesome plugin, I can’t believe it doesn’t have a million downloads yet.
I installed it today and, at least with the preliminary testing I’ve done, it does seem to only offer the cookie pop-up to EU countries as I’ve set it to do, which is perfect.
This does raise one question for me though…I use the plugin WP-Optimize for caching the site’s files and minifying the CSS and .js files. Will this cause any issues? Especially in regards to the caching of files – I wonder if that won’t cause non-EU IPs to see the cookie pop-up. If so, what file(s) should I tell the caching/minifying plug-in to ignore?
]]>Nothing shows up after I installed this plugin!
]]>Hi, I enabled the option “Show only in European Union countries”, I am in Costa Rica and it still shows the cookie popup, can you fix it, please?
