When update lasted plugin. I meet a bug. The image… cannot be displayed because it contains errors.
After some research i realize the buffering php make the trouble.
I added ob_end_clean(); line 141 generator.php. Hope that help somebody out there.

We’ve just developed a new toy review site with this plugin. We were very impressed with the large amount of options available which enabled us to configure the plugin to work exactly as we needed. This is much, much more than just a simple star rating for comments. And it is quite unfair that other users have rated this plugin poorly just because they could not get it to work easily.
On the website we just built, we have used the plugin to allow both the user and the site owners to review each game/toy. On top of this there are 4 categories per review (each with their own weighting). Great functionality, but as said before should focus a bit more to usability. Nonetheless it is a good plugin, maybe the so long promised version 2.0 will be better.
Noticed something on a production server. This plugin uses the JQuery.browser functionality which is deprecated after JQeury 1.9, so your site should use an older version of JQuery.

This is a great plugin, but if you are using ajax load (infinite scroll or pjax) the ajax loaded content w/ gd star will NOT work.
This is because the author(s) failed to use event delegation. Instead of $('click'),function use $(document).on('click','diva divb etc', function (e) PLEASE.

Overall very impressive.
Possibly too many options – for a future version it might be better if you could make the unused pages from the settings ‘disappear’ as in a wizard-style dialogue . I am only going to be using it for the comments so the mass of other information for me is just something to wade through.

Although this plug-in is packed with features, the developer completely doesn’t understand that UI usability for the end-user is just as important.
The simplest of tasks in this plug-in is a chore to figure out and is counter intuitive, very messy, and a pain to work in.
The developer needs to simply FOCUS on what folks really want from a rating system instead of thinking of every possible iteration, option, and feature. It’s way overkill!
This plug-in has some nice features, but it’s complete lack of documentation and overly complex UI makes it almost unusable. Yet another classic example of over engineering a simple task and making it far more complicated and complex than it needs to be.

I agree with others that find this plugin way too complicated.
When loaded, it switched on everything automatically. I wanted to be able to decide on which pages to use it myself. Couldn’t find out how. Managed to dsiable all the automatic insertion of ratings and could not find a code to enable it manually on a per page basis.
Similar questions in the support boards only get answers that don’t make sense. Like inserting php code manually on per page basis? How? Reading the instructions in the help or info files? Where the hell is the help or info file?
Tons of options no one needs or uses, but no simple code to insert the rating on a page. I gave up.

This is one of the worst plugins on the marketplace. The author has made no effort to make the plugin easy to use. It is filled with hundreds of options, all of them unclear. The documentation is incomplete. It is impossible to get started. Read the rest of the 1 star reviews. The support is horrible. The person who made this plugin is an idiot.

When I first installed the plugin, the stars would show up, but I couldn’t click to vote, after a little investigation I found this error: “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘msie’ of undefined”
I figured out the problem to be with the latest version of jquery dropping support for $.browser. Jquery offers a migration plugin that brings back support, after adding the script everything went to working like it should:

IMHO this has way too many unnecessary options for a rating/review system. The code is as complicated as the core WordPress code itself. Every time I check my server logs, I see SQL errors caused by this plugin. I don’t need extra burden on my server! Thank you!

Having problems with moderation of multiratings. Can not moderate a vote att al. Plugin has a lot of options, so this must be an error.
Every post on Dev4Press is deleted by them without an answer.
Support is only given when we you pay €80 euro/year. While that is not a problem when you ask premium support and in that case i am willing to pay for it. But when i like to report an error and request a fix.. i do not want to pay €80/year!!
Using 1.9.22 right now. Development on 2.0 is taking ages and no updates on their website about release dates.
Love this plugin, but hate the support of normal problems.

Too complicated, too many undocumented features, too many params to archive anything. So far is probably the most complete review system available for WP but even so the learning curve is probably too big specially considering there is no open documentation. Version 2 has been in alpha for +1 year now so not sure what are the authors intentions to maintain this in the feature.
