1. I have set up a color scheme for the star rating under the article.
   And in the sidebar widget, the default star rating color scheme. And it stands out very much against the background of the site design.
   How can I make the widget have the same color scheme as the articles?
2. Is it possible to customize the widget? So that I can disable unnecessary elements.
3. Where in the translation template file is the text “From % vote” located? I couldn’t find it. As a result, everything in the same widget is translated except for this phrase. And is there any way to remove it? If I edit the widget template php file directly, won’t it be overwritten after updating the plugin?

Anyway to have a half stars options? So there can be 2.5 stars etc? Thanks.

I am planning to create Average Review score based on major Review Sites like Google Business profile, Yelp, BBB, Bird Eye. Only Admin will create these revies by import using ALL Import plugin, users should not be able to rate and post reviews.

Instead of using usual categories like: Service Quality, Price, Support … I will need to be able to display ratings from 0 to 5 from each review platform mentioned above. In some cases some companies(listings) may not have reviews at all(let say YELP), usually the score is calculated for example Google(5), Yelp(4) & BBB => (5+4+3)/3=4
In case company(listing) doesn’t have reviews in Yelp at all I would like the calculation process to skip/omit missing values(zeros) and be: (5+0+3)/2=4.

Is this something I can achieve with your plugin, ether by changing plugin settings or using some snippet? If Not, would it be possible to import categories ratings: Google(5), Yelp(4) & BBB In-dependably from Average Score(4) so the total score is a value I create and represents the result I am after? I am open to any work arounds.

After updating the plugin to current 3.6.1, the Stars Rating auto item shortcode stopped working.
I tried a “single item” shortcode as well, and it did not work.
This is with current version of DIVI theme.
I have rolled back to 3.6.

Can a user cancel his vote? Yes, he can revote, but sometimes he wants to take his vote back.

does not work if you change the page with a pagination function. The ratings are displayed, but unfortunately you can’t do any. Mousover, change of colours, as an indicator of where you are in the rating and also the selection do not work.

I tried to get a Demopage and filled in your formular on your page, but no link and no access data in my mailbox.

As the page on which the evaluation is used is not yet public, I am unfortunately unable to provide a link here. Would this enquiry also be possible via a contact request on your homepage?

Does anyone know how to transfer data from the old version of the plugin?

I have an odd issue. The plugin works great in a normal circumstances but I have a function inside functions.php that produces a loop of posts that can be ajax filtered by clicking a checkbox. Inside that function I call the shortcode and I have tried all the options with the shortcode builder to get it to show the ratings in that loop called from the functions.php file but to no avail.

I thought it may be some timing issue so I pasted in one of the list codes to see if the plugin was actually triggering and those worked fine. I am not sure why the standard shortcode is not working even when I add the post id and the post type.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Happens on taxonomy term pages….any idea what the fix is?

Hello, your plugin seems great, but it is very complicated. What’s missing in it:

1 – pages for settings, not many, to change tabs and not the entire area of ??access to settings.

2 – fields for entering your own translations into what is displayed for users. To enter your own words in your own language – there are no such fields for entering your own names.

3 – a picture of what you choose and what it will look like. It’s good if there is an example or description in the settings.

That’s it. Great plugin but very difficult to use, it seems very complicated with stuff like this.

The number of options is so large and in so many places – that it is better to have tabs on one page to browse than in so many places.

I don’t know how to set it up because there are too many of them.

There is no field for entering your own language translations. So, to make it fit any language – I didn’t find an option to enter my own words and not in a language other than mine.

This all matters.

I have English, German, Spanish, Sweden and Thai languages on my website that works under WPML. When I’m enabling plugin – Thai language not working (500 Internal Server Error), the other languages are fine.

I have the latest version of WP and plugins, PHP version is 8.2.

is there a way to add a gutenberg block to this plugin for people using FSE themes ? the shortcode works well for single posts, but not for archives pages templates.
When i add the shortcode to archives pages, it does not use the loop, so voting for one post from the archives result in voting for all the posts.

I use as theme “Happy Elementor” and I build my website with Elementor as well. I tried to use shortcode but it didn’t work. Are there any other configurations I should apply in order to display? Are there any compatibility problems with Elementor?

I do not recall exactly when it stopped working, but the “Automatically detect active term” option in the Stars Rating List widget does not seem to work on posts or archive pages (categories, tags) anymore.
Using DIVI theme with DIVI Builder, but the feature did work with the theme in the past.

Hi, just installed GD ratings lite on a fresh wordpress 6.1.1 install running php 8 and no rating are showing at all. What is the general most basic setup procedure for the plugin? As far as i can see its all setup for basic page and post operations right out the box? Just add the shortcode?! Im totally at a loss with this plugin now. I’d like to buy the PRO version, but wont all the time i cant even get the lite version working. Rgds, David.

I want to add the star rating on my custom post type, but I only want each user to see their rating instead of seeing the avg rating. Do you have a way to do it in your plugin?

I want to import data (1400+) ratings from YASR, when I start import (checkbox is enabled) I receive:

* Transfer process has finished.
– 0 of 0 done (0.00028 sec).
– Transfer process is starting…
* Total of 0 rating objects found.

I have multisite framework and I want to import for a specific instance.

What can I do? Current version of GD Plugin is: Version 3.4

Hi, the plugin works fine. However, I’m wondering is there’s a way to show the actual stars once a post is rated just underneath the Post Title rather than below the comments section? I’d like mu readers to see the stars at the top and not have to scroll to the bottom of posts to see the ratings.

im using your plugin on WP 5.7.1 (website is in coming soon mode). i use blog view and voting can be done without registering. gallery looks fine but i can vote many times the same image, even if i set “Check by IP” or “Check by IP and cookie”.
any suggestion?!
