It does not work for me. I don’t get to see the feed, it says ‘error connecting’.
– WP v3.6.1
– WP is not installed in the root folder
– It also breaks a feed with the ‘Super RSS Reader’ plugin resulting in an error:
Fatal error: Cannot make static method SimplePie_Cache::create() non static in class WP_Feed_Cache in <WP install path>/wp-includes/class-feed.php on line 16.
Also strange, on their website they mention that they will fix a few things in version 1.2 but the current version is 2 years old.
]]>The Garmin Connect data show in the sidebar.
Using this [gcmap act=”284292975″] the thumbnail of the map showed in the post, all of a sudden it’s stopped working.
Nothing has changed on the site. I’ve reloaded WordPress. I have deleted the plugin and reloaded it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for any help
Dave
Hi There,
Since november 2012, the plugin doesn’t work anymore? Is there something changed? See https://www.timloopt.nl/hardloopberichten/
]]>Hello,
I love the widget. Seems to be working on my blog using latest WordPress. Would it be possible to have a flag to hide the link back to the GPS data on a post, i.e. the “Details @ Garmin Connect” link? I like the summary of time, distance, heart rate etc. but would prefer not to share the exact route on certain posts for privacy concerns.
Thanks,
Tim.
With version 1.1.8 activated, the RSS feeds for the WP Development blog and new plugins in the dashboard do not display. The server error log shows numerous messages of this form:
PHP Fatal error: Cannot make static method SimplePie_Cache::create() non static in class WP_Feed_Cache in /home/les/sites/losingit.me.uk/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/class-feed.php on line 16, referer: https://losingit.me.uk/wordpress/wp-admin/
Deactivating Garmin Connect restores normal service. I think this is a version incompatibility – WordPress 3.5 comes with Simplepie 1.3.1, the plugin has 1.3.

Hi!
I love this widget!
however: I run a site which is for a few runners who all have their own Garmin Connect account.
Would it be possible to change the username and password from the global settings location to the widget settings? that way I can create a widget for every runner.
thanks a lot!
]]>Hi,
I have installed the Garmin Connect app on my self hosted wordpress website however at the top it says:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/andrew/public_html/wp-content/plugins/garmin-connect/garmin-connect.php on line 334
Has anyone come across this and or know how to fix it?
Thanks
Andrew
]]>Hi,
I just installed the Garmin-connect widget on my blog-site. Works nicely but as I use this blog mainly for runningactivities, is it possible to add the option that you can choose which last activity-type to show, e.g. running, biking? So that if you do mainly running and occassionally bike, the last run-activity still is showing.
greetings, Dick

]]>Tried install but get fatal error
]]>Hi there
I have wordpress installed in a folder on my domain and the out the box Garmin Connect plugin did not function correctly. Style 1 and Style 2 just did not show anything and Style 3 showed the title and a missing logo.
I tracked this down to the code “get_option(‘home’)” in garmin-connect.php not returning the correct path with the folder name, replacing this with “get_settings(‘siteurl’)” and everything worked.
I did have the widget screen in the appearance section of wordpress administration lock up on me frequently when the garmin plugin was activated and finally got it working by deactivate-ing the plugin deleteing it re-installing it (without activating) editing garmin-connect.php as above then activating and adding it on the widget screen.
Hope this helps
Tim
