Hi,
when I press the button “Sign in with twitter”, I receive the following error messages:

]]>thanks for this great plugin. Is it possible to display only tweets that come from a specific source and that have a specific hashtag?

]]>Twitter was down this afternoon and instead of seeing my website all that showed up was this error:
Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in
/wp-content/plugins/garees-twitter-stream/garees_twitter_stream.php
on line 265
This is a major error handling issue, I can’t afford to have my website unavailable every time twitter goes down, for the entire time it’s down. I installed the plugin about a week ago, it worked great until today ??

]]>Is it possible to use this directly in a theme?
I’m working with an older site that isn’t widgetized, and I want to include a Twitter stream using this plugin in the sidebar.
I tried just including the shortcode in the template file, but obvious that doesn’t work.
Thoughts?

]]>The “count” command doesn’t work. I specified “5” and it showed 2 tweets. I tried refreshing, different browsers (Chrome & Firefox) but no luck.
I went to ask for help on the developer’s site but he hasn’t answered a question since February 8–and there are several questions waiting.
Too bad as it looked like a nice plugin.

]]>Hello,
When I put the widget on my WordPress, I get this error: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/www/[domain].com/wp-content/plugins/garees-twitter-stream/garees_twitter_stream.php on line 258
I seem to have encountered this problem with certain other Twitter widgets too, which is making me think that it might be a problem on the server side. Any help? Thanks.

]]>Garee’s Twitter Stream 0.8 has its additional information in the admin menu under Plugins. On a blog that has dozens of plugins installed, this is the only one to show it there. All others show the info under Settings, which would be a more logical place for Garee’s Twitter Stream as well.
The only exception to this in that blog is WP Migrate DB, which has its menu under Tools, which is a logical place since that’s where the core Import and Export options are.

]]>Tried adding a feed from multiple users but the plugin returned an empty result. Used syntax [twitter_stream search=’from:user1 OR from:user2 OR from:user3′]. Same search pattern on https://twitter.com/#!/search-home yielded the proper result, so it seems to be a plugin bug. Same search but with “@” instead of “from:” yielded the expected results, so there’s something about exactly “from:” that the plugin doesn’t handle right.
Tested that with a single ‘from:user1’ search attribute and the plugin returned nothing.
As an aside, in the documentation the plugin uses ” as an attribute delimiter, except on WP.org plugin front page, where ‘ is used instead. Both work. I suggest using (and possibly allowing) only the latter, because ” is a Twitter search operator. You can for example search for “beer pong” to exclude search results that say “ping pong and beer”. But a user who has read through the documentation and seen ” be used by the plugin, is stuck with trying to figure out whether [twitter_stream search=”#beerpong OR “beer pong””] can possibly be made to work.

]]>The plugin is exactly what we needed, thanks! After installing we came upon the following problem though: the Twitter user avatars wouldn’t load. This is due to an SSL certificate error with the servers a0.twimg.com, a3.twimg.com and so forth. The feed page on the blog also displays certificate error messages, which is confusing and alarming for users. This happens when viewing the blog over https.
This is due to the plugin trying to use the abovementioned servers instead of twimg0-a.akamaihd.net, twimg3-a.akamaihd.net and so forth that Twitter itself uses. The file names and paths seem to be absolutely the same regardless of the server, and the server number can be anything from 0 to 6.
