I think this addon needs a major update regarding video progression.

There is a special reason for this, we notice that among our students those with the best grades, attendance rates up to 75% and 90%.

Being that those who continue studying after a few years are within the 75%.

Why don’t they watch classes until the end? There’s a reason for this, classes usually end with a hint of what the next class will be about.

In fact, many videos from different courses use this approach, or spoil the next class, or mention previous classes.

So what I would like to suggest, is to add a feature in the shortcode so that the percentage watched of the video can be chosen.

In our case 75% would be perfect.

I don’t know the amount of effort this involves, however if it’s simple to change this differently in the code to work with 75% instead of 100% it would already help me, someone of the development type could point me to where this is within the code ?

And if it’s useful for you, I have a way to monitor the progress of a vimeo video through google tag manager and I can share the procedure to see if the concept can be added to the addon.

I have used short code and block as instructed but by setting height and width, the iframe is not responsive. For example, I tried setting width 1120px and height blank. At full screen on desktop the video looks as expected. When scaled down to tablet or mobile view though the iframe height is stuck at 630px.

When using native Vimeo block all scaling responds as expected.

Is there a way to make the embed fully responsive and remove the white space on scaling down? I also tried inspecting the element to edit the CSS but could not seem to find the element causing the issue.

HI! I am wondering if the point is automatically assigned to user if they just hit play, or does it make sure they complete the video? I’d like to make sure the watch the entire thing through.

hi, my integration worked without any problem yesterday morning but now it doesn’t work no points are rewarded for watching video, its not even logged ??

Tested by inserting gamipress code as instructed on a page. Video shows up fine. Then used same vimeo ID as a step in earning a badge. Watched video all the way through, then reloaded the page. No credit given. What’s the expected time frame for this to update in the system?
