Hola,
Hi
recently, i noticed something about this add-on.
in browser’s inspect tools, if you change the class of a div to a class that registered for link trigger on admin, and click on the link, points will apply to user account
how to prevent this ?!
Is there an option to add or deduct points via Ajax (no page refresh)?
Or, do you have a paid addon for this?
Hello all!
I am using GamiPress on my site that includes BuddyBoss and WooCommerce.
This is my first attempt to use all 3 of these products, so apologies if this is a newbie question.
When a user signs up as a member in my BuddyBoss site (forums and groups), they are at the Subscriber level.
People who create accounts in my WooCommerce (shopping) are at the Customer level.
I am giving Points to my subscribers when they join and then each time they log in. Unfortunately, GamiPress is also awarding points to my WooCommerce Customers.
Question: How do I prevent Customer level users and also Admins from receiving points for logging in?
Any hints appreciated!
Hi. I created a rule in gamipress that any link clicked should receive a point until up to 200 clicks are made in a day and it is working. My question is, how do I ensure that a particular link grants a point only once in a day and for the logged in user to earn more points, they have to click another link just once.
For example, there are four links: abc.com, xyz.com. ffy.com and ggh.com. Currently, anytime user who clicks any of the links, gets a point and this continues until he has up to 200 points in a day as per my settings. What I want is that abc.com should only grant 1 point in a day. If users clicks it again, it should give no point. If the same user clicks xyz.com the same day, a point should be awarded only once. This means that 200 URLs must be added for a user to make 200 points in a day. How do I do this?

I tried adding gamipress_link class to the ‘a’ element but its not rewarding any points to the users. Any idea how I can use gamipress link in this scenario?

How to determine the rank of a member who can only profit from clicking on the link.
That is, excluding managers, for example, and making the job only for subscribers who click on the link, and points are added automatically after clicking on the link
I’ve assigned all of the ways for a user to receive points, however, after testing, the user still doesn’t auto receive any points. not for signing in, not for commenting on a post, or creating a post… is there some setting i’m missing or overlooking to get this to work?

Hi,
I set click to ID link “khoa_hoc” to subtract 10 points.
Everything works fine except I have to reload page to see point deducted.
Is there anyway after click the link (go to another page or reload current page) we can see new points without RELOAD AGAIN?
Many thanks!

Hey,
is there a way to make all transaction on hold/pending?

Hi,
I’m trying to use gamipress_link in a custom template with a do_shortcode, but I can’t get it to work, here’s my code :
$gamipress = do_shortcode('[gamipress_link href="'.$link.'?utm_source=mywonderfulwebsite&utm_medium=link" label="Click here." target="_blank" title="Click here"]');
$result = '<div class="container-fluid text-center"style="padding-top:1%;">
Website is loading, please wait. If it doesn't work, '.$gamipress.'

';
Link opens in a new tab as expected, but points are not added.
Do you have any clue ?
Thanks in advance,
Seb.
Hi,
I have embedded an articulate storyline 360 quiz on a page. Depending on the result of the quiz, I have assigned an amount of points. I have created a button in storyline and assigned a specific URL. In Gamipress, I have designated this url to award points based on the link, so when the user clicks it they SHOULD receive an amount of points. However, this does not work.
How can I get this to work, please?
I have read that in order for this to work the link must be generated by the [gamipress_link] shortcode. The problem is, I don’t know how to this. I haven’t used shortcodes at all, so i’m not familiar. What should I add to the page I want to use as a link?
Hi, I need to change the class. gamipress-link to other. Is not a problem if i need to change code of the plugin. But is very important because I need to trigger other shortcut so i need to put that class instead of gamipress-link class.
Thanks.
Hi,
I use the plug and it works great. The addition for custom elements also works great:
add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘gamipress_link_enqueue_scripts’, 100 );
However, I have a question. How to make the code added above work only on links, posts of other users?
I added the class to the buddypress activity. However, how can you make Gamipress track only a click on another user’s link?
We are using GamiPress to measure interaction on our site. We have some internal links (full urls of posts on the site) that we want to be able to see if people click on those links….but it does not seem to work.
External links also do not seem to work…
??
Any ideas of what we are doing wrong?
btw – other plugins like the polls one – works great!
Hello,
We have an issue where we cant get “Click a link with specific class name” to work.
I’ve read your docs and have given my links the class of ‘gamipress-link’.
All links are triggering when we use the ID instead, but none of them trigger when using a specific class.
The link im using is:
Download
I tried using different class and ID but that didnt fix it.
Also tried returning to storefront theme and that didnt fix.
Additionally, although all other links work with the ID. on this download link, the event triggers 3 times when I click download. I’ve re-created the event and checked it several times and cant see why it would trigger 3 times for a download link.
Can anyone help?
thanks!

Hi
I have been setting up gamipress on our site and am finding that a number of the add-ons don’t seem to work – links and multimedia. Links have nothing happening, and multimedia recognizes when I load a file, but not when someone watches a video from the media library
After reading the other threads, I tried the advice of using a standard WP theme (twenty 15, twenty 12 etc) but I have the same issue on them all making me think it has nothing to do with the themes.
Am I missing something simple? any help?

Hello,
I have created a badge with the link requirement “Click a link with the identifier” with ‘manifeste’.
I have put the gamipress link shortcode in a post with the link_id ‘manifeste’.
When I inspect the html code generated : the link id is present.
When I click on this link, the event is triggered but it seems that the link id is not catched, and my badge is not earned. I don’t see the link_id in the log file.I have put the same word ‘manifeste’ as the link id in the requirement and in the shortcode.
I don’t understand how the link id is catched !
I′m trying to use this plugin but I need to configure the style of the link. So I tried to do it like this:
<div id=”my_id” class=”gamipress-link” style=”margin-bottom: 5px; padding: 10px; color: #fff; background-color: #ef0000; width: 100%;”>Click here

When I tested this it worked and I have earned the achievement, but the most basic thing didn’t worked: the link. Clicking don’t send me anywhere. I need that when user clicks on the link he is directed to https://mywebsitedomain.com.br/page-name/ like any normal a href
When using the [gamipress_link] shortcode the link works fine but I’m not able to customize the style.
And yes, I’ve placed the code in my functions.php in my child theme.
Can you help me please? Thanks.
