With the Gamipress and bbPress plugins, I’ve seen that we can set a points allocation for each time that someone replies to a thread. Unfortunately, I’ve looked at our forum user behavior and found that we have quite a few back-and-forth support chains. I want to encourage our customers to help one another, but I don’t want to reward people for replying a bunch of times on their own question thread. Is it possible to limit points to be only given for replies on topics that the user did not create?

In the backend of WordPress, under GammiPress>Settings>Add-Ons, on the bbPress window under Points tab, where is says User Points, I have 5 blank fields that are checkable. I only have 4 Points Types and there are 9 checkboxes.

I noticed these blank fields with checkboxes populating after changing the points type slug on the current points types I have by leaving that field empty and saving so GamiPress can generate a slug.

Example, Energy Points had energy-points as slug so I deleted the slug, left the field empty then saved it for the singular version which GamiPress did by default.

Is there a way to delete these empty labels?

FYI – I cleared cache (browser and server level) and still an issue.

There isn’t a “Gets a reply to a topic” event, but I want to award a point if a user’s topic gets a reply but only once for that topic, but the same rule applies to another topic there started. Essentially, I want to make it so users get points if they get at least one reply in their topic and only once, subsequent replies to the same topic no points. How to do this?

How to award points if users get unique visits to their topic? There is no event for that.

I have a forum setup using bbpress and gamipress. I have set points auto reward when a user adds a reply and points auto deduct when user delete their own reply. The auto reward words, but points are not deducted when the user deletes their own reply

It does exactly what I need :
– Get a new favorite on a topic ===> Point Awards

I know would like to do the revert action.

– When ‘bbp_favorite_remove’ ===> Point deducts

I tried fallowing the official guide to create a custom event (for 3 days now) and starting to get nuts with all this…

I wanted to display the points, achievements and badges in the bbpress user profile, so that other people can access the profiles of other members and see their earnings without the need to install buddypress and weigh the server. How can I do this?

I’m having an issue getting the member rank and the associated image to show on bbpress under a user’s name (https://www.fanbolt.com/forums/discussion/forum-rules-guidelines/)

I have the settings in place in GamiPress > Settings > Addon’s > BBPress > Ranks:

– User Profile Rank is selected for what I want to be displayed

Display Options:
– Show Thumbnail on
– Size set to 50px
– Show title on
– Show link off

However, nothing is showing and looking at the source it doesn’t look like anything is being called. I’ve tried turning plugins on and off as well with no luck – any suggestions or code I can add?

Hi, I would like to know if we could “hide” the achievement image from step activities in BBpress feed.

This is because I would like to show the image only when a user completes the full achievement. Showing the achievement image when someone completes a step results in the achievement activity being the same as the previous steps, and that does not give the “FULL achievement” the importance it has in the community.

Basically, when someone completes a step, the activity show on the feed is exactly the same as when they complete the full achievement, which should have a more important display than the prior steps in the activity feed.

If I disable the achievement image display on the feed, then the image never shows up and this is even worse…,. Can′t we have a different setting for displaying steps and whole achievements?

Could we modify this somehow with a custom code? At least to hide the image of the steps activities?
