I know there are other people posted this issue before.
Although it was marked as resolved, but I don’t think it is fixed.
You can try for yourself, create two achievements for daily visit posts in two different categories, limit them once per day. only the first one triggered on the same day.
I traced the source code, it was treated by gamipress as the same trigger even you choose a different category.
Hi,
I’d like to know weither it is working with custom post type?
]]>Hi,
I’ve read in some other thread in this forum that it is not possible to use this addon with subsite categories. Any clues if this feature will be available in the near future?

Hello,
I have 16 different categories with multiple posts in each category. What I would like is for the user to read a maximum of 1 post per category per day. For each post that the user reads, they are awarded 1 point.
I have tried using this plugin with the following settings and the following results:
1 – Daily visit a post of a specific category | [category name] | 1 times | limited to 1 per day
If I use these settings, the user is only awarded 1 point for the first post that they read. Reading other posts in other categories does not award any points.
2 – Daily visit a post of a specific category | [category name] | 1 times | unlimited
If I use these settings, the user is awarded 1 point for each post that they read but they are able to read multiple posts in the same category.
I was wondering if there is a way to award one point for reading 1 post per category per day?
For example:
– Category 1 has 5 posts -> the reader reads 1 post per day maximum and is awarded 1 point
– Category 2 has 5 posts -> the reader reads 1 post per day maximum and is awarded 1 point
– Category 3 has 5 posts -> the reader reads 1 post per day maximum and is awarded 1 point
– etc…
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
]]>we have a CPT that use custom taxonomy how can we detect this post insert in that category?
]]>Hi.

What is your Github to this plugin?

]]>We have a multisite installation with various Gamipress addons. Everything works so far. I configure the achievements on the main page.
Is this addon multisite capable?
When creating a achievement, I can only select the categories of the main page. The categories of the subpages are missing. The plugin is network wide enabled.
]]>I am trying to set up gamipress as an alternative to grading my university project design classes.
I set post categories (one for each type of assignment), and would like to award points based on whether students have published posts to each of 9 categories. Then I know they have completed all assignments, as each assignment has a different category.
I would like to know if it’s possible to set up steps to earn points by punishing a post to a certain category? I downloaded Gamipress “Activity by Category” but that only works with comments, not publishing posts themselves.
Awarding points for posting to specific categories would allow me to use Gamipress to put grading into the hands of students instead of in my hands–as long as they complete each step or post in a satisfactory way, as well as adding feedback (i.e. comments), and other activities.
I hope there is a simple solution?
