The only downside is when selecting images, if you have A LOT of images the ones at the bottom can take awhile to load. I had a site with 100s of high quality images (wordpress back up was 4.2 gigs). Pagination would be nice. This is the reason for -1 star. I’d only go -0.5 if I could.
Other than that it was perfect!

I’ve been struggling to implement a gallery to my clients specifications for days now!
I honestly tried dozens of gallery plugins but nothing was able to do something so simple as allow me to output my own html!
This plugin is excellent. It does exactly as is described and is a lifesaver. I’ll be using this and recommending it a hell of a lot from now on. Thank you so much for developing it.

OK, honesty time … it’s my plugin. But I made it because adding a gallery was the biggest hole I kept finding in developing wordpress sites for clients. The plugins always added extra uploaders that were confusing to clients, and the images in those extra upload folders were never available in posts and pages so you had to upload them twice if you wanted them in the media library too. And as a design studio we want to pick which jQuery gallery we use, not be limited to whatever scripts a certain plugin uses.
I just used this on a live client site and the setup time for a gallery was soooo much quicker that the usual development time to get something else working the way we want it. So I’m patting myself on the back.
