WordPress Plugin Review Team is an XSS vulnerability backenden. I indicated that this is not correct.
As a response I received a list of other errors in the code.
I do not consider the whole procedure to be decent, so this plugin will not be available here in the future.

Hi – I cant seem to get it to display foldernames with the “folders” template.

[gallery-from-files folder="billeder/gallery" page_limit="15" title="1" template="folders"]

maybe because of spaces or special chars? I have danish chars in some names. periods and spaces – is that aproblem?

I uploaded a couple of images from ipad, via ftp but the images are not resized and it causes the page to being displayed. Please advise.

Hello,

I uploaded an image .JPEG but the gallery didn’t work. Then I saved as .JPG and it worked. Is there any way to add the file type .JPEG to be shown inside the gallery, as well as .PNG?

I would like to assign descriptions to the image atributes (e.g. title, alt, caption) but without renaming the file itself (filename may not be changed)

Hi Again,

I managed to get the plugin to load my thumbs – I had a capital ‘B’ leading in the folder parameter folder=”Billeder/pics” as it appears like that in the directory chooser, but that did not work and I got no output as to what was wrong. When i made it all lowercase that all worked straight away.

Anyway when I click on the content it says “The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.” I guess that is due to it resizing images in the background.

But I note that some of my images are rotated the wrong way – upside down, sideways etc. That doesn’t normally happen? is there a fix maybe?

Otherwise also a fantastic approach to gallery – I really love the FTP maintenance part and having it outside the media library.

I created a folder under wp-content/uploads/myfolder and uploaded the photos I wanted to display via FTP. I then created a page (Gallery) and inserted the code generated through the plugin but no pictures are shown. [gallery-from-files folder=”wp-content/uploads/myfolder” template=”images” order=”set” page_limit=”24″ title=”1″]

I’m using WordPress 5.5.3, PHP 7.3.
