If you have a selection of many pictures in a gallery (e.g. [gallery link="file" ids="2529,2540,2553,2552,2551"]) the plugin only shows images which are linked to the post. Images linked with other posts are not visible.

I try to view only 3 images in archive gallery view, which is the main purpose of this plugin, but I dont want these 3 images link to the file. I tried to use “Gallery with No Image Links” plugin but your plugin doesn’t work instead, only the images is linked.
How to achieve this: showing only the first 3 images (start=1 end=3) without the link to the image?

I have installed and run fine.
I uploaded 25 pictures, but de first pictures is not one in start (ups?)
The 1 to 10 pictures:

The 11 to 23 pictures:
[gallery link=file start=9 end=21]
The 24 to 25 pictures:
[gallery link=file start=22]
i don’t know, i read the code plugin but i don’t see this mistery secuence….

Trying to only show pictures 8 to 14 only using this code
[gallery link=file start=8 end=14]
but instead it shows all the images in the gallery instead.
The pictures in the post are all inside 1 gallery. I assumed that this plugin can filter out which of those images in that gallery i wanted to show, but it doesn’t seem to do that.
Any ideas ?

The plugin worked very great and i like it. The images now are in limited number but the images that are not display in the post can’t be shown in other pages or has permalink to images that are not displayed in the front pages.
