I have a client with a large gallery of videos. I’ve optimized the images to help reduce load time. However it still takes almost 13 seconds to load the page. If I remove the video gallery it only takes 2 seconds to load the page. I’m using the tabbed feature with multiple tabs. Is there any way to only load the first few images in the first tab and let the others continue to load so the page can render faster?

The option to hide caption in gallery option settings doesn’t work.

What css can I place to do it? I use the Iframe gallery.

I wanted to know if your plugin supports videos from Vimeo? If so, does it automatically create images?

Your plugin supports vimeo videos. Or do you just need to put the image?

last time the gallery is okay, today i can see in the Backend only the new title. all other things are gone.
My WP version is new and the gallery plugin actualized today.

I have installed and licensed GalleryBox Pro version 1.0.6. I’m not getting any update notifications, running update check from within WordPress does not reveal any updates (maybe there aren’t any?) and I’m completely unable to edit my existing gallery.

a) Do I have the most recent version? If not, how can I get it?
b) How would you suggest that I edit my gallery?

This seems badly broken.

I want to upload short MP4 videos to my media library and place these videos into galleries. Is this something that is supported?

(I can see YouTube & Vimeo support, but am woundering about videos that are uploaded to the media library)

Hi. How can I when set that the popup open the video does not start to play automatically? How can I disable it?

This was a very unpleasant surprise. I understand if you provide premium features from the get-go, but to remove this option and only allow it if people pay, is a very unfair move and a false advertising on wordpress for this plugin. All of our galleries, for our non-for-profit project, are gone now.

I have noticed that in the current updates for Gallery Box there aren’t any notes in the changelog. The last changelog appears for 1.6.2, but not for the last two updates. I was wondering what changes had been made in the last two updates, and if the changelog can get updated to reflect them.

The problem is in galleries with Vimeo videos. When i add a vimeo video url, the plugin fetch correctly the default vimeo cover image. Unfortunately, when i add the gallery in a page using the shortcode, the vimeo cover image is being replaced with the default image (the one with the box).

I am trying to use masonry layout and use captions but I cannot get the captions to work at all. Am I missing something or this is feature only in the pro version?

Thanks you for this nice plugin! One big issue is that the order of added videos is backwards. Say I have a gallery and want to add a new video, I can only add it as the last in the list, then manually push it to the top. It is very complicated ?? – can this be improved? Cheers!

I ran the update for this plugin on 2 different websites and both broke. The latest plugin doesn’t work. You can’t add or edit any gallery and if you try, you get a page full of default “Gallery Box” images that you can’t get rid of. I rolled back the plugin for now (this is why it’s SO important to run a backup before updating anything!)

I had the following issue when I recently added a new vimeo link which as you will see from the link of my site in the second row it creates a two gap of frames before the next vimeo link thumnail . Do you know what I have to do in order to fix it?

When Gallery Box loads for the first time, it always looks like this https://prnt.sc/kizfjn (The Shop our warehouse is supposed to be three large square images across by three deep)
But fixes itself on reload.

using this plugin few months now (excellent plugin btw), never had issues until now – when trying to edit existing gallery or create new one I get stuck with loading animation on “Choose gallery type and click to add item”.

Tried deactivating other plugins but no change… even tried installing same plugins on test copy site and there it works ok.

Any suggestions what to try?

I love this plugin. Easy to use, beautiful… Congrats, awesome work!

I just have 2 problems so far:

1) the pagination doesn’t not work for me. It just shows all the videos, no matter how many items I ask per page. and the “load more” button is enabled.
2) This has been mentioned before, but the video won’t autoplay which is very unfortunate. That would make it so much smoother.

I really want to use this plugin but the apparent lack of an autoplay feature for vimeo videos means that I may have to look for another solution.

I have tried appending the URL with:

?autoplay=1

… but this does not work inside this plugin.

Is there a solution for this?

I create a iFrame gallery. In each iFrame I have a html page with only a webgl based viewer. The viewer allows normally to go in fullscreen. But the fullscreen is only working in the iframe and not on the site (I still see the light box). I would like to have something like youtube full screen who is working very good. I try to put something like “allowfullscreen=true” after the shortcode but it doesn’t work.
