Was the best analytics plugin. Unfortunately not updated for 3 years. Accordingly, it is suddenly no longer usable for me that anything is no longer supported. You are supposed to create an account for this, but that is not possible. Have tested a few other plugins, but you can forget them all, that just does not show the real, real data. I hope and pray that the creators of the plugin fix or update this. I have over 300 pages on my website, so I can’t manually use Analytics everywhere as a layman. Please make the plugin available again.

I had been using since 2018ish and it worked great for years although the current developer is no longer maintaining it and hasn’t been updated since 2020 as of this writing.
It still currently works (early 2023) but there is no support for GA4 so I’ll be moving away from it very soon.

I really like this plugin as it provides a simple Analytics viewer on the dashboard. Unfortunately it hasn’t been updated and I expect it to stop working when Google Analytics 3 gets deprecated.

In exasperation, I was looking for someting to replace ExactMetrics with its constant alerts and prompting to upgrade.
I came across GainWP, installed it on one of my sites and wow, it was like rolling back the years to a plugin that is functional, has many elements that are free that ExactMetrics want you to pay for, and is not intrusive.
I took great delight in deleting ExactMetrics from all my sites and putting GainWP on.
A great plugin and cannot recommend highly enough.

This plugin was fantastic until December,
now it does not work at all and all my scripts and codes are ENTIRELY missing from my website. It has been two months. In that time I caught COVID-19, was in the hospital, and am recovering. I don’t know what happened with the developers or if they met the same or worse fates but the plugin is no longer reliable.
It used to be the replacement for the previous Google Analytics WordPress plugin that sold out and became commercial loaded with adware and a paywall.
Now back to square one.
My review rating based on the two months of it not working and not being updated to be fixed. Reviews and support requests at this time reflect the same.

Have installed this plugin seeing there were no low ratings at all however;
1-The plugin description says gtag.js is supported but Google Analytics 4 is not supported (properties are not found by the plugin).
2- The developer does not seem to responding to the support forum inquiries as far as I see.

Perfect plugin, which suits my simple needs: een clean GA-dashboard for a personal website. No annoying advertisements for a PRO-version, which to my big surprise dóes exist. I wish all plugins would be(have) like that. Indeed a worthy successor of GADWP. Please keep up the good work!

It’s the good ol’ plugin that shows Analytics in your WP Dashboard. Simple, easy to setup, and really useful. It allows an administrator to give editor access to statistics.

Yes, greedy BigBusiness toook over the good old GADWP just to make it useless if not paying a lot for “pro” version, and we missed the plain easy-to-overview graph in the dashboard.
I tried to use “the last working version” of GADWP, but the last weeks that version conflicted with newer WP updates, sadly..

Let’s be honest, this looks like I direct copy of how GADWP used to be.
This is a GOOD thing! Fair play for the dev to take this one and keep the dashboard analytics flame alive.
Plugin works very well, simple setup and has nice simple dashboard widget.
When GADWP changed to the now terrible “Google Analytics Dashboard for WP by ExactMetrics” we were left trying to find a simple Analytics dashboard for our clients.
This has fulfilled that need perfectly. Thank you to IntelligenceWP for this plugin.

I was very disappointed about the GADWP updates. Bloating the whole screen and screeming on nearly every page to buy a payed version with 90% of my clicks. I’d want to, but not the way they did ‘update’ functionality. There are more things on my admin screen to watch then this plugin! And I can always go to the Google analytics site.
So, please go on with your approach, and if you need payment for certain function, gave us a call for that on the forehand.
