The Universal Analytics is the part that works with this plugin, as far as I know. But it is shutting down from July 2023. A little way off. But will you be updating your plugin to reflect this?

]]>hi, your plugin api authorize not support for get data GA4 (Google Analytic 4 ) ?
]]>Firstly thanks. I realise you forked this from GADWP giving us the same plugin for a few more years. That was much appreciated. However I just wanted to check if this is still in active development and if yes if a PHP 8.0 version is coming as the current version throws some warnings.
I expect the answer is no, but it would be good to know so that we can make alternative plans.
Kind regards

Hi, today I have updated WordPress to version 5.7.
It seems the X is no longer visible to close the post statistics.
I mean when you view the “All Posts” page and click the button to view the visits of a single post.
After viewing the visits correctly, there is no X to close the window. I am obliged to refresh the page from the browser.
I hope I was helpful.
Thanks.
This plugin is not updated for 7 months now and the support seems to be gone? Is this plugin still secure to use?

For two months the GA plugin has not inserted my Google analytics scripts into my front end. There appears to be no explanation for this in my PHP logs or within the plugin.
localhost Windows 10, WAMP, WordPress Multisite. All up to date.
The Google Analytics Errors & Debugging so no errors, but obviously there is a problem if all GA scripts are not rendered in the front end.
I think the plugin is broken now and needs an update. Keeps breaking and requiring me to reconnect, this has been posted by many but even the quick fixes don’t work for me sometimes, last time took a whole day to be able to reset. Hope this can be fixed.
]]>Hi guys,
Been monitoring this issue over the last few months, and around every 2-3 weeks, the plugin gives up the ghost, showing an an error message in the ‘errors and debug’ section.
So then I need to clear the present authorisation, then re-authorise with the Google API, and when the correct website is chosen, it starts working again.
Is there a reason that my analytics needs re-authorising every 2-3 weeks?
]]>There have been a few loading problems with this plugin recently, as noted in support questions and comments.

Hello,
Since 2 days I have on several of my websites this error ‘This report is unavailable (-23)’.
On some other websites who share the same Google Analytic account, the plugin works well!
In the Error Report I have
GAPI Error:
Array
(
[0] => 403
[1] => Array
(
[0] => Array
(
[message] => Quota exceeded for quota metric ‘Queries’ and limit ‘Queries per day’ of service ‘analytics.googleapis.com’ for consumer ‘project_number:XXXXX’.
[domain] => usageLimits
[reason] => rateLimitExceeded
)
)
)
Ultra weird because I only have 5 visitors in a day lol (website is on development).
On my local server I build a full clone of one of the website and I do not have the error ‘This report is unavailable (-23)’. The plugin works perfectly.
On the online version I installed some other Google analytic plugins such as “Analytify”, “Google Analytics Dashboard for WP by ExactMetrics (formerly GADWP)” and “Site Kit by Google” and I have no issue to get the stats report.
Best Regards
Nexus
Hello,
Set up a new website and created a Google Analytics account for this page. Now that Google has changed it′s standard Analytics setup to a new interface and way of installing the tag on a page it doesnt seem like the plugin recognizes/finds the new analytics property (or stream, as it is now called). Any idea on how to fix this or a workaround?
]]>Is it possible to display GAinWP analytics dashboard via a shortcode or custom HTML code?
]]>Hello, I am in the procces of deleting not strictly necessary plugins because I have to much of them… ??
A plugin to add GA code is not strictly necessary because I can add the GA code manually of course. However, I often find it difficult to edit the GA code myself. So now I came up with this workflow:
– Install the GAinWP plugin
– Use the plugin to edit my GA code (for example things like track downloads, anominyze ip address and so on)
– Go to the source code of my websit
– Copy the GA code from the source code (generated by the plugin) and add the code manually
– Delete the GAinWP plugin
My question is: can I use the GA code generated by the plugin without the plugin being installed? Is the generated code still working when added manually to the header?

]]>Hi,
I want to track PDF downloads in my site but I can’t find any documentation on setting up GAinWP to track downlaods.
How do I serve the files on my site for downloads so they are tracked by GAinWP. I mean, I can setup a link in a page that will cause the download but how do I tell GAinWP to track this downlaod? Or, I could embed a PDF in a page but would this be considered a download of the PDF? How are downloads reported? Any pointers?
I installed the plugin today so I am still trying to learn how to use it.
Thanks,
Carlos
