Saw that the plug was deactivated and google tag managers shows me that the G4 Containter sent 0 hits. I activated the plug again and now it works fine.

Unfortunately it did not work for me. Tracking code is not displayed in source code.
I’m using a child theme but the hooks, wp_head and wp_footer are well present.
And I’m not using any caching plugin.
So I included the code myself. I don’t like it because I like changing theme.
I’m pretty aware this plugin works for lots of people. But too lazy to try troubleshouting it.

I am writing this because I am actually having to uninstall this plugin for the first time EVER! Not because of anything bad it’s just an SEO plugin I paid money for will be managing everything now and I can git rid off a bunch of plugins. It sounds silly but I was reluctant to uninstall this plugin because it has served me so well but the fact is I just don’t need it on this particular site. However, this is a go-to plugin for me. This plugin and many others by this developer are about as good as it gets. Having looked at the code it is well written and is exactly what it needs to be and nothing else. One of the best plugins I have installed.

Just follow the installation instructions on the plugin (don’t get sidetracked by youtube videos) and you will have great results. The developer, Jeff, was very quick to answer my questions. Easy peasy.

I’ve tried a whole gamut of Cookie notice plugins, and this one is now my favourite. It’s simple to setup, and when I had a query, Jeff was very quick to answer. This plugin does what is necessary, without overcomplicating the issue. Would highly recommend.

I was looking for a plugin to add a Google Analytics (GA) script I got from Google into the <head></head> of my WP site. This app simple asked me for the GA-Id and if it was a tag and it regenerated the rest of the script using the GA-Id I supplied. Every thing I needed and nothing more.

I was looking for a Google Analytics plugin, I was going to go with Google Site Kit but it looks bloated and people say it has a negative impact on site performance. I was going to try MonsterInsights but that too looks bloated. Anyway, I tried WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin and that did not work.
I found this one and knowing that Jeff makes amazing plugins, I decided to install this one. I was not disappointed. Works perfectly and has an option to use Global Site Tag (gtag.js) tracking method which is what I was looking for.

There are a few plugins doing the same. Only others have more features and present some data from WP admin interface, saving time to check Analytics itself if one just wants to have a rough idea of daily traffic. I see no reason to use this one and even less for the stratospheric rate it has.

So happy I found this plugin! For some reason, Site kit refused to accept adding a new property. This plugin however solved that issue in no time.
