Hi Olaf,
Is it possible to add an emailOctopus checkbox to a contact7 form so that a person asking a question can also subscribe at the same time.
many thanks
Dave
]]>Hey Olaf, doing some debugging on our site, I’ve noticed this PHP Warning:
PHP Warning:
Undefined array key “em_checked_default”Plugin:?EO4WP: EmailOctopus for WordPress
File:?/wp-content/plugins/fw-integration-for-emailoctopus/woo-emailoctopus-integration.php
Line: 69
Using PHP 8.
As soon as, you subscribe – you receive an error – An Error Occured. But the automation is working fine – I mean the email is getting added to the list and prompting the automation.
]]>Hey, I always read the changelog before updating, your changelog has the latest release on the bottom of the page, can you invert it so the latest is always on top? This is how all plugins do for this very reason. Thank you.
]]>Currently RSS campaigns are not supported by EmailOctopus and I don’t think they will offer such a feature over the next years. RSS campaigns are very “old fashioned” and comes always with some “pain” if you need to change them. Beside this, they are not very flexible.
Instead I have the idea to build a function that auto-posts the latest X blog posts as a kind of newsletter section. Would that something you need for your online business?
To make this possible (in a good way) we need a new API endpoint which allows us to post content to EmailOctopus. If there are enough up-votes for this feature, it might become a possible over time.
Please post your questions and up-votes below.
Thank you for a great plugin!
Would it be possible to have the subscription box checked by default at checkout (mailchimp has this feature and Im migrating away from them to EmailOctopus), and not collapsed by default. I want it to be easy for customers to subscribe and the form is too hidden in the current format. Thanks!
]]>Hi, we are a paying costumer of emailoctopus, we created an API Key, we set-up the plugin with the woocommerce checkbox at checkout, but I noticed that after a week we had no new sign ups. I tried it myself with my own email and it just didn’t work.
Contacted Emailoctopus, our Php version is 7.4, we turned off our firewall for testing, cleared all caches. Still doesn’t work.
Any help appreciated.
