All the popular anti-spam plugins which I’ve tried have been useless so far, I was still getting 30 spammer registrations a day. So I turned towards the lesser known ones and found this. It’s just about stopped every single spammer dead in their tracks so far. Only 1 has gotten through out of hundreds (but all new successful registrations still need to be approved by me first). Anyway, it’s simple, very effective and the only captcha I hope I’ll ever need. You’ve cured my ongoing spammy migraine, thanks ??

I tried many buddypress captcha plugins:
– BuddyPress Security Check
– SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam
– etc.
And all failed to stop SPAM registrations… But after installing Funcaptcha it stopped immediately! I can’t find the ‘Register Ad’, the comment below mentioned?? After you complete the task I see the message:
“Well Done, enjoy your stay”
For future update’s it would be nice if we can tell the API what message to generate there.

There is a huge “register” ad at the end of the captcha that creates confusion… I’ll use this until I find a better one… this is just terrible design.

One of the games is involves identify the women out a few photos of men and pull it into the center. Horrible idea, gender is not “fun”.

This is a great plugin that is very simple and does exactly as advertised! Also it is really easy to setup with the easy to follow steps and videos.
I was just wondering if it is possible to integrate this into a contact form I have built in my theme? I was hoping that someone could provide some guidance to how I could implement something such as:

It really is a sweet user interface, fun instead of frustration trying to read those obscured characters. The developer(s) seem to be on the ball and gave me personal feedback to questions. Some things need to be added, like a shortcode for Contact Form 7, and in particular other languages, not just english, but otherwise great, handles BuddyPress and SSL with bravour!

I love FunCaptcha! The old Captcha way of squiggly letters and numbers offers no interaction and only gives a feeling of mistrust from the site people are trying to join.
This plugin installs quickly and easily. Setting up an account to obtain both the public and private keys to activate FunCaptcha is completed effortlessly and immediately.
How can such a great plugin be free? I am simply amazed.
This is, without question, the best way to lift the spirits and put a smile on the face of someone joining your site!

What an epic waste of time. It takes at least 2 minutes to load, meanwhile the visitor has no idea what’s going on except they continue to get the error message – then your visitors have to go through 5 or 6 other “challenges”.
Novel idea – might be fun for a kids website.

i got this on my website up and running really quickly. i was also able to get it running on my simple contact form 7 plugin very quickly to additionally protect my contact page.
i love the games, much more interesting than other captchas i have tried on my site, it is also very quick to play.
