Awesome plugin!!
It helped me a lot but Beware, There’s no more support for this plugin!!
Even i searched for “Developer Site” of this plugin but some non-sence site opened!!

Just test the plugin before use as NO SUPPORT!!

I’ve been trying for six months to get support for some bugs in this plugin. The only response has been “we’ll get to it.” But they never do. I had high hopes for this plugin. If it worked as advertised, it would be pretty good. But the frustration factor with their non-support has been eleven out of ten. Beware of getting started with this. It will suck up all your time, and won’t work.

And thank god I found a RETS solution that DOES work!
Contact the people at https://wprealty.org and tell them that you want to “try-it-before-you buy-it” and you will be glad you did because seeing is believing and someone there will actually support the product which is more than I can say from my experience here.

I tried them last because they seemed to be too expensive for what I needed BUT as it turns out, you get what you pay for!

After trying just about every wordpress real estate plugin “free and commercial” I decided to give this one a try recently ….and yet another disappointment.
Instead of coming here and bashing everything that’s wrong with this plugin I’ve decided to just let everyone know what I found that does work.

If you are a web developer looking for a 100% working US/Canada RETS solution, w/NO-encrypted code, NO MOTNHLY FEES, then let me save you some time….a LOT of TIME!

Even though I’m a developer I went ahead and paid the 1399 price to have everything all done and archived for me so that I had a 100% completed and working backup archive of everything. They took about 3 days to get it all done and with a few tweaks (they include 2 hrs of live 1-on-1 support) I was able to get my first clients project done in less than 5 days total time. The BEST part was when I was told that I can now setup as many NEW sites as I want in less than 10 min! They include a remote database option that allows as many other websites as you want to connect and share the listings data from the master site database – Cool Right?!

Visit, call, or email the people over at https://wprealty.org and let them show you what all their stuff can do and make sure they show you their “templated auto suggest” demo – AWESOME! – Never seen anything like it before!

Oh, and one more thing “SEO”
I also do a lot of Real Estate “SEO” projects and I recommend using something that allows for unlimited SEO options…especially “dynamic” seo options. I just finished a customer’s site with WPR plugin that required 3 dynamic content paragraphs to be added in the listings details page so that the client’s listings pages were containing MORE relevant content and additional contextual anchor text links to help out weigh competitor’s pages for the ADDRESS searches on Google. Then the same customer wanted me to add in the ability to update the RETS every hr – then the customer wanted me to push a link to all listings added TODAY with the newest on top (trying to get authorship/authority with his gravatar displaying on all “new listings” getting indexed for Google search results) ……I also just recently did another project where the client wanted to join 3 RETS into 1 database and NONE of these other solutions can offer you all of these options.

The main problem with just about all of the wordpress plugins like IDXbroker and dsIDX (diverse solutions) is that neither one can do microdata via https://schema.org – which, imo, is a HUGE SEO disadvantage over other products like https://wprealty.org.

If you are as concerned with SEO as I am then you will certainly want to compare solutions based on what SEO limitations are imposed on you by these 3’rd party RETS/MLS providers.

Start with the following SEO check list: …
*Note none of these are possible using “dsIDX” or “idxBroker”*
1). 100% Customizable (dynamic) page urls, page titles, page meta, page description etc all done in any way you can imagine doing them, also very important is the ability to do (“dynamic” rel_canonical listing urls)
2). Can you add custom microdata to all appropriate listing data such as in this example – <span itemprop=”address” itemscope=”” itemtype=”https://schema.org/PostalAddress”>123 street</span>
3). Can you create unlimited “custom dynamic content” using {listings field names/values} and conditionals. (not possible with idxBroker or dsIDX)
4). Are there any creativity limitations – in other words IF you want to do “xyz” can you? The answer to that is “NO” if you can’t touch any of their code.

If anyone can show me a wordpress solution that can do those 4 items I’d like to know about it – cheers ??

I installed the plugin and asked the developer for an extension that let me add different categories within Real Estate Plugin. For this extension I paid 120$ !! an it does NOT work.
I tried several times to get support from them but nothing happens, no reaction.
Wasted money and wasted time – this is outrageous!

I downloaded this plugin, decided that I needed the Pro Features, but they won’t work. So, I put in a support ticket 2 weeks ago. I have yet to receive any answer. I have tried contacting several ways including tracking back to https://www.firestorminteractive.com/ and making a phone call. This company does not support their plugin, and it doesn’t work the way it says it should, and don’t get suckered into buying the premium addons.
I will now start working towards getting a refund.

Waste of time. I sent in a support ticket in hopes of correcting several errors and it’s been a month and still no response. Terrible plugin, terrible support.

Shortcode doesn’t work, featured images don’t work, not much works….fought with it for an hour, realize I’m just wasting my time. Moving on to something else. Just wish I discovered it before paying for the pro version.

This Plugin has great potential, unfortunately I experienced a number of issues and bugs that I pickup on in the first few minutes of testing it out. I was considering this for a client website but after running it I changed my mind.

Unless you’re ready and willing to roll up your sleeves and trouble shoot this thing to get it to work without issue, you may want to look elsewhere.

I should note, as any experienced WordPress website developer knows, there are many factors that could be the cause of the issues I was experiencing, such as a conflict with another Plugin or the Theme I’m using, just to mention a couple.

I’ll be testing this one out more and keeping an eye on upcoming versions to see if they can knock the rest of the bugs out, but for now, there’s now way I can recommend using this Plugin in a client project.

I love this plugin it is exactly what I was looking for. It took a while to get it working because I had a glitch caused by MY server. Wes @ support was extremely helpful and we got it all working now. The custom fields and filters make it so easy to show the exact properies you want on the page you want!

Have been waiting for support for what should be a very simple problem. The custom filters that allow you to post certain properties on a page/post are not working. This sux because I have a client that is expecting this feature and the documentation (such as it is) said that it can be done.

Very disappointed and am now looking for another solution.

You can’t use PayPal to buy the plugin directly on the author’s web.
Discussion Forums (https://www.firestormplugins.com/forums/) are empty. No issues? … Don’t want to show issues?

Do not even bother using this plugin. The support is horrible, Wes says he’ll get back to you then never does (happened to me on MANY occasions). After that each update to the plugin produces new errors and bugs I have to fix myself. Just go somewhere else.

Permalink issue when you click View Listings, Search, etc. -Error: Sorry The page or document you are looking for doesn’t seem to exist

Pro Version settings go back to default when you hit “Update”.

Don’t buy this plugin. FireStorm is just stealing your money. There is zero support.

Nice but we hope that support must do what they say and answer all our questions. They have been saying that they will include the feature of uploading multiple photos at the same time when adding listing but after a year, they haven’t doing it!

You are great and you helped many people. Please help us too in our questions and problems.

Wes from Firestorm does not stand behind his product. We paid good money for a plugin that simply doesn’t work as he has claimed. His support is terrible and actually avoids phone calls. He threatened not providing phone support because we got angry at him. This is business, Wes. Grow up. Fix your product.

Maybe if you know how to write code to customize and fix the many problems with this plugin it could be ok for you. Problems I had:

Listing Sorting stuck on alphabetical by name, could not change order of listings without deleting listings and starting over.

Asking Price field did not work

Could not change featured image without deleting listing entirely

Not compatible with nextgen gallery and plugin has no gallery or slideshow that works

Google Map only displays on listing page and does not work

I spent the $60. for the upgrade so I could get google map and it was worthless. My client only had 15-20 listings so in the end would have been easier just to use a blog format because of all the problems with this plugin. I would not reccomend it, found it very frustating and time consuming troubleshhooting the issues. Don’t expect much support either even if you buy the upgrade.

Setup and input a listing and it showed up fine in summary of listings. When I clicked to view it got 404 page not found message. Tried several times. Reinstalled and tried again and the same thing happened.

It does exactly what I want it to do. Allows me to add a unique listing page for any property I want, which gives me a lot of flexibility since my MLS’s IDX functionality doesn’t allow me to show sold listings…
