I rarely leave reviews for plugins but I have to stop by and give props to the developer for this one. This plugin is very simple yet provides so much functionality in a clean and easy way from your front end post needs. I have tried many other plugins (free and paid) they didn’t come close to this when it comes to front end posting. I know this is open source but If you are accepting any sort of donations, please let me know

This plugin is nifty. I am setting up a members only area of our website and I want to make things simple and attractive and keep people out of the backend for writing posts..it would just confuse a lot of our users. I tested a number of different forum plugins such as BBPress but was very frustrated until I gave Frontierpost a go! It is pretty easy to set up, has a number of good features and allows you to set controls quite flexibly; for example, you can restrict posting of certain category types to certain members. I think Finnj really gave a lot of thought about what makes sense for the end user and not technical experts or developers and I sure wish there were more such plugins that keep this in mind. Finnj has another plugin in called Restrict Media which is a good complement to FrontierPost. I also received quick and helpful responses to my inquiries. Many thanks!

Great plugin to aid those without WordPress knowledge. Makes posting much less complicated than the WordPress backends which I m sure frightens the life out of newbies. Setting are relatively simple and can be sorted out in 5 mins.

Hello,
I strongly suggest that you may integrate it will buddypress since buddypress has thousands hudreds of downloading. If it support intergrate with buddypress, it will be more competitive and lead more downloads, you know there are already lost of frontend post plugins anyway.

I have many page on my admin page (https://mysite.com/admin/edit.php?post_type=page)
Before i activate this plugin, to edit the page, just click on the edit link and will open page https://mysite.com/admin/post.php?post=30&action=edit
BUT, after activate this plugin, all edit link in my admin page become https://mysite.com/my-posts/?task=edit&postid=30
So, i can not edit page, and can not edit post anymore. Please fix this buggy, thanks

Strongly recommended：
1. Add Post And New button. No refresh page is better!（for speed)
2. Empty title automatic from content like P2 theme. Instead a warning. can set the title length.（for speed)
3. Hide empty categories.
“Disable control of Admin Bar” is this feature allow admin edit post backend? it’s not work.
