Since I had my website moved to another host, I can no longer use this very handy and fine plugin. I can no longer access it. My webhost uses the Wp Super Cache to speed up my website. It has much more speed but this plugin can’t be accessed there anymore. I notified their support and I was told that this plugin needs to be updated. Please do that. I would like to re-add this plugin to my site and use it again.

When I click on Add Photo in dashboard, I have to scroll thru too many photos without finding the photo that is in my account, even if I search on the exact title of the photo.

]]>Is there an easy way to code the plugin so that the attribution links open in a new window instead of the current one? I am not a programmer but it seems this wouldn’t be too hard to accomplish. It uses photos posted on Flickr that are tagged with a Creative Commons license.
It then adds a link to Foter in the photo credits line — while ignoring specific attribution instructions by the author of the photo.
It does so in direct violation of the Creative Commons license, which states the following condition:
Attribution — You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work).
I, for one, have posted specific attribution instructions — which Foter ignores.
Too, I certainly do not endorse Foter, nor do I want my photos to be used by that company.
I have contacted Foter about this, but the company ignores emails.
Other Flickr users also complain about this company, and I am considering taking legal action against Foter.

]]>This is a great idea for a plugin and I really wish it worked as described. What’s happening? When I go to insert an image, the image itself cannot be resized. Then if the image uploads at all, and assuming it’s not too humungous to use in a post or page, the credit text doesn’t appear correctly. And the images often cannot easily be deleted or removed when the sizing issue doesn’t work out (such as when the images are too enormous). Also, Foter.com seems to be down and the plugin then does not work either.
Like I said, I love the idea for this plugin and believe if these glitches were resolved it would be much more helpful for WordPress users and gain popularity.
Options that would be great once it’s working again: the ability to set preferences or types of images. Zemanta is similar but has very limited image choices and its preferences option does not work. So there’s alot of room in this plugin for innovation.

Responsive seems to be the latest trend and it would be a shame to have -last time I counted- 190,339,205 images (!!!!!!) NOT responding to a responsive theme.

One thing I would like to change is all the html output – there are a lot of inline styles such as the border that I have to manually remove in the HTML screen (using this in wysiwig area). I searched all the code for this plugin but couldn’t figure out where it’s generating the inline styles. I don’t mind editing javascript or php.. but I can’t find it!

I installed the plugin 1 month ago on several sites, everything worked fine and suddenly it just stopped working.
I can select photo, add description and everything but it no longer inserts the photo in the post.
I tried with both hosting option.
