I consider the Twenty Fourteen theme one of the most original and stylish ever released for WordPress, and this plugin is as essential to it as air. I understand there may not be many reviews, but believe me, we are all truly grateful to you. It would be great to see some additional functionality, like disabling sidebars or changing the page width. Thank you so much for continuing to support this plugin.

Add some handy options to customize colors

Hi, unfortunately after you activate the plugin you can’t change anymore the website title color… you must disable the plugin, change the title color and activate the plugin again.

Ran into this plugin after hours of setting up things with it and this was the final touch, I lucked out finding it, cheers!

This plugin is easy to use and a must to customize colour codes for the twenty-fourteen template. Without that plugin I would have chosen another template or spent hours on css customization.

I am using the most current version of WordPress 4.4 and the most current version of Twenty Fortheen Theme. The plug-in installed and will activate but does not show up after activation. The options under Appearance / Customize / Colors are the defaults only for the theme. I have noticed reports on the support blog over a month ago of the same issue on earlier versions of Twenty Fourteen Theme. I hope that the developer gets this message and has time to resolve the issue. His plug-in was a great value.

THANK YOU NICK!
A few months ago I created silentcinemasociety.org and spent hours changing all the green to gold. I don’t even remember if I did it in css or html or both. Just a lot of inspecting and trial and error. It looked great, and has for months.
Then today I went to the site and everything was green again.Arrrrrgh! Like I said, I don’t remember how I did it the first time, and don’t know why it reverted. Maybe an update?
So I googled how to do global color changes — and instead of complicated code I found this one-click plugin. It’s absolutely superb.
I’m actually glad the colors reverted, so I could discover this plugin. Like I said, HA! — happy accident.
Thank you again!

very simple and easy to use, thank you!

Not to sound stupid, but can’t figure out how to work it once the plug in is installed. Say for instance i want to change the color of my tagline?

I messed around with hunting down and editing out every instance of green in the styles.css. Then I did the same for border colors etc. Too time consuming. Then I started afresh and tried a configurator to create child themes to do what I wanted. Spent over six hours on that and still didn’t quite get everything done.
In the end I found and downloaded this product and had my colors right in a couple of minutes. Am annoyed now that I didn’t find it earlier.

This plugin allowed me the customization needed on the free 2014 theme which prevented me from using a lot of my very limited budget on a premium theme. I really appreciate this plug in

Couldn’t figure out how to change colors – black doesn’t do it. This makes it totally easy. – Thanks

Works perfectly. I was on a fresh install and this saved me hours of CSS editing.
Cheers bud, if I could buy you a drink for your efforts, I would!

Just installed this to make a quick and easy change to my accent colors on the page, and it couldn’t have been easier. This plugin is simple and effective and awesome. Great job!

It does what it’s supposed to do, but I had some technical problems.
First of all, the plugin only works with Twenty Fourteen theme, and didn’t recognized duplicated or child themes.
Also it seems to use some algorithm to determine if the text should be bright or dark based on the custom background, which doesn’t work that well. It should be better if you could set it manually.

The plug-in works exactly as described. Thanks for helping me transition from green quickly without delving into the CSS for the theme!

i repeat – just awesome ??

Adds a new category in Appearance > Customize. Took me a minute to figure that out.

As described. Perfect.

Works well with Fourteen Extended to Customize Twenty Fourteen. Really easy to use.

Nick, seriously, great job!

Saved me a lot of time trying to replace the green with my client’s favourite colour. Would be even better if it allowed for more colours to be altered.

2014 without this plugin is quite useless, thanks so much!

fantastic, spent ages trying to find how to change the accent colour otherwise!

This is great, but I’d really like to be able to change the main content bg colour too. White is so…
At the risk of overcomplicating things, how about having the option of throwing in CSS3 gradients too. Just by allowing you to paste in CSS from the Colorzilla gradient generator would be great.

It’s a basic need, and you’ve got it right! Thanks!
