}When it comes time to disable/enable plugins I use an alternative method. I created a folder called “plugins_off”. Then I simply move plugins from the “plugins” folder to “plugins_off”, move them back and forth to enable/disable them. Just a different way of doing thigs, my preference.
The only question I have is will there be any negative effects by doing this, or should I stick the traditional way of enabling/disabling plugins from the WP admin plugins page?

Per the topic title, no emails being received after a reply to a post. I’m the site admin, and notify says email notification is turned on for the post. We are using PHP email and email for other functions like changing user password is working. Any thoughts as to what would be preventing email from sending?
Also can you explain how you embed a picture into a post please?

]]>I am trying to figure out why this plugin does not have a default usergroup setting, for when users sign up to the site. Everything has to be manually done making administration a nightmare.
Is there anything that can be done to make all new users that sign up on the site automatically added to a specific Group in the “*_forum_usergroup2user” table?

I cannot seem to find a plugin that would allow users to have a more powerful writing tool box. I would like for them to be able to upload images or post youtube videos. Does anything like this exist yet?

First of all great work with the plugin. I am using it as a light-weight Forum Solution for one of my experimental projects.
My question is the following:
– How can affect the sorting of the topics inside a Forum. I want to have the topics with most recent replies appear on the top of the list.
– Currently I am getting a seemingly random order of the topics (although it stays the same).
– In the current example (see the link below) I want to have topic with Id = 8.0, then the topic with id=9.0, then id=7.0 and so on the topic with id=2.0 should be the last one as there is no reply to it after Sep 25.

]]>We have been running WP Forum Server for some time (version 1.8.2) on WordPress version 4.2.3. We just noticed that posts to the forums (there are 3 forums) do something strange:
Posts on the first page of the forums will show the entire post when the post title is clicked.
Posts on the second, third, fourth, etc pages do not show the post contents when clicked.
Also… we are seeing recent posts NOT appearing in chronological order.
Is anybody experiencing this?

I am using Dboxlite slider on my homepage. For some reason in the program preview the slides change normally without moving up and the play/pause button appears in the right top corner of the image. ]]>This was absolutely the easiest thing to get to work. I had mingle-forum but it disappeared so I deactivated it and then installed forum-server and it automatically pulled all my forums, topics, etc. in, that was very nice, to say the least.
Just a couple issues.
There is some strange stuff in the quick reply about which I am clueless to fix.
Icons show then it has this in there , document.forms.addform.message); return false;'>
Here is a screenshot for you if that helps. If it needs nursing, I am comfortable going into code. If it needs major surgery, I’m not qualified!
If you want to see it live, I will have to send you a guest login and password since our forum is private to members only, but it’s not a problem for me to do that.
