I have some forminator form with the Lifespan/Expiry field set by “Date”
Everything worked fine but one day before expiration I had to postpone the expiration and change the date with the datepicker field selection, clicked on update and got the “saved” response message but after one day I realized that the value didn’t change, I tried editing it again but also if the message says “saved” if I refresh the form edit page the value is still the first one, it doesn’t update…
WP version 6.6.2, Forminator version 1.36.0

Hi im using the form in Arabic language , the phone number section is using RTL if its the form in Arabic but the issue if your will start entering the phone number it will not type it correctly.

for example if you enter “12345678” it will enter the number as “5678 1234”.

and if your using the Validation for national or international it will be worst.

hope you can fix the problem.

I have a website where it has reCAPTCHA V2 Checkbox on the form and sometimes when visitor makes purchases using paypal the page doesn’t go to the ‘Thank you page’ and they get shown an “invalid capcha” and it gets stuck there, even though the captcha checkbox was ticked initially (the challenge didn’t load). A customer said they successfully paid but nothing on our backend that shows the form submission or anything that indicates the payment, not even paypal. Sometimes it works without any issues, but most cases, there is a problem with recaptcha and paypal, they don’t seem to work together well.

I tried to find solutions and then updated forminator to the latest version, but noticed some more bugs for the telephone box after the update, the country would display behind the input box and not inside the box. Please see below:

I then downgraded back to an older version of forminator Version 1.28.1 and now there is a new issue. When I fill in the form and press the Paypal checkout button, I get this error:

“Error! Something went wrong when verifying the payment”

Now I don’t know what to do, I tried to recreate the paypal field with no luck. I even updated back to the latest version to test, and still I get the same error.

Tried to update to other versions and still same error.

Any ideas?

I even tried to create a new form with just paypal as the field. When I press the button I get the same error.

I’ve noticed that the plugin has increased a lot in size since version 1.35.1. This is caused by 5 javascript files in the ./build/ folder that increased more than 40MB. This issue still exists in the latest version 1.36.1

Are these actually used in production? If not, they should not be in the plugin. If they do they are too big to load. In that case it’s much better to use minified versions without all the Webpack data, that was not included in 1.35.0. You’re not obliged to include the full versions as long as they can be found in a public source like GitHub.

This can save disk space, bandwidth, maybe page loading speed, etc.

Can you please fix this?

I am trying to add CSS to the first select field of my form. 
I dont want users to be able to see every single option in the drop down, and only after inputting 3 characters in the search box do I want potential options to start showing.

I am using Forminator version 1.29.0. Is there an option to enable the Venmo payment button? There are three query parameters beginning with experiment which appear to be Venmo related. Can these be set for a particular form? Has Venmo integration been added to more recent versions?

Is it possible to have the date (hidden value) in the form after submitting the response to Google Sheets here also formatted as a date? Currently it is plain text by which I do not work the Scripts in Sheets.

Whenever I change o manually it turns the whole column into plain text after submitting a new response.?

I’m working on a registration form for an event. The registrant may be solo, a couple, or a family, so they could enter 0-5 for number of attendees for a given daily event. If we have a session with a limit of 50 people, I’d like to disable the number field and show a “session full” message after the total number of people selecting that option has been reached. Is that possible with Forminator?

I can see how to limit the number of submissions for an option, but it would be difficult to use an select field in this case, when the number attending a session can vary. I tried searching the forum, but couldn’t find another example like this. We’re using the free version, fine with moving to pro, but not sure if it’ll help for this.

I have a problem on my mobile version of the form. When I click a popup button and I wannt to choose a date from the calendar I cant see the half of the calendar. And one more problem on the mobile version I can see the default options on the time picker. I cant click to open the calender also. the automatic update for forminator forms up to 1.36.0 failed unfortunately. already reported the issue in this ticket and set up a new one while the messages are generated from different files.

I steped back to the former version of WordPress and did the updates cycle again. a new error message appears.

can’t copy  forminator/addons/pro/googlesheet/lib/external/vendorprefixed/psr/log/Psr/Log/Test/TestLogger.php

before can’t copy forminator/build/personality-scripts.js

File permission is set for the directory to 777 (same again) sep back to 755 again. space is enough available on the server. all the other updates had run smootly.

“Secteur d’activité” should only appear once, but it appears twice I don’t understand where it is coming from. The form is embedded in a modal when “choisissons ensemble” is clicked.

I’m reaching out for assistance with an issue we’re seeing in Forminator.

We have hidden fields created on the forms as Custom Values. We are correctly injecting the hidden values via JavaScript, and these values are displaying correctly in the HTML hidden field values way before the form is submitted.

However, upon submission, these hidden field values are not passing through to the Forminator side under Submissions.

Is there anything I might be missing or any configuration settings that need to be checked?

I am experiencing an issue with two forms I created using Forminator. One of the forms disappears while the page is loading, while the other works perfectly every time.

I have applied the same settings to both forms as specified in the one that functions correctly. Additionally, I’ve tried clearing the site cache, but the issue persists.

I suspect there may be a conflict with one of the plugins, but I am unable to identify it. Could someone please assist me in resolving this issue?

Hi, for required files by default it shows a red asterisk. Is there a way to replace the astericks with the actual word “Required” written out?

For example: Full Name (Required)

I can add the text to the field label, but I can’t change the color to red or stylize it in anyway.

I have tried the Update link on the plugins page and uploading the plugin manually, but the same happens for both. The server has free space. I can’t see why this would happen.

Since updating to version 1.36.0 we’re seeing lots of warnings from our PHP Malware scanner about a possible shell backdoor. We’ve investigated, and it’s these files:

• addons/pro/googlesheet/lib/external/vendor-prefixed/symfony/console/Application.php
• addons/pro/googlesheet/lib/external/vendor-prefixed/symfony/console/Cursor.php
• addons/pro/googlesheet/lib/external/vendor-prefixed/symfony/console/Terminal.php
• addons/pro/googlesheet/lib/external/vendor-prefixed/symfony/console/Helper/QuestionHelper.php

Although we can configure our scanner to ignore these files, I would rather check to see if this “console” dependency is really needed in a WP back-end plugin. Can you please investigate, and hopefully remove this symfony/console dependency?

For now, we will revert Forminator to an earlier version.

Since the latest update, I’ve noticed that the phone field on a few of my clients forms has started displaying the United Kingdom text vertically. I’ve amended most of them to not use the national validation for now but left this one as is so you can see the issue.

Its on desktop only and the issue is in Chrome. It doesn’t seem to be an issue in Firefox. The issue is also present when using the ‘Preview’ of the form in the admin area.

I thought the issue might be to do with a conflict with Jetpack as I had updated both Forminator and Jetpack however I created a staging environment and deleted Jetpack and the issue still persists.

I’m not sure what else to do with my clients website. I have Akismet Pro, Defender, Shield Security, Honeypot, hCaptcha and I even had my own time-based questions and invisible questions added to the form to try and stop spam submissions and yet STILL my clients forminator form is still getting nothing but spam messages. The server was scanned and came back completely clean of Malware. The website scanned clean as well. Can you please help me figure out how the bots keep getting past all this protection on my clients site in particular? I’m starting to doubt forminator and it’s coding but also not counting out that the Theme could have something to do with it. Being Thrive Themes who knows. However, again, my scans come back clean. I’ve already reached out to Akismet team and they said that they can’t do anything to help and I needed to connect with WPMUDev Forminator team so hear I am. Please help.

You guys had helped me out several months ago integrating a must-use plugin bit of code to format the phone number to remove spaces for Google Adwords to track conversions but it doesn’t look to be interfering with the functionality because the red errors come up when you try to leave the field blank.

We’ve a bunch of sites with their forminator forms set to load via Ajax. This was because it was recommended by Forminator to get around problems with nonce errors due to caching.

All those sites are now no longer loading the forms, either in the edit screen or on the page. There are no javascript errors or anything.

Turning off Ajax load fixes it, but causes causing issues again.

(Edit: It seems like even then it still doesn’t load the form in the edit screen)

Hi, We are about to purchase the pro version of the module in order to benefit from the PDF option. The issue is that we set up the forms using the free version, and for each form, we configured email notifications to be sent to the client based on certain conditions (depending on what they check or select from the dropdown). The problem is that the forms containing these conditions are sent very slowly. I have to wait approximately 2-3 minutes for a form to be sent. Can you help us with this error? How can we improve the submission time?

I need a help with display forminator. It looks different in edited page and in display page. Can you help me?

Captcha isn’t showing on the forminator form. The keys are correct because I use the same keys with Divi contact form and the captcha is working. Recaptcha v3 is not showing in the preview either. I tried with v2 tickbox also and it was showing in the preview but not on the form.

I have setup after submission to display an inline message without any conditions. The only thing that shows up after a form submission on the users end is “Form entry saved”

I have “Ajax” set as “method”, enabled “On submit” and “inline validation”.

What am I missing?

The phone field accepts any character in the desktop version, however, in the mobile version it accepts only numbers as it should be.

Please integrate your great plug in with Brevo. We use Forminator & hustle in all our projects and we are switching to Brevo from Mailchimp. We think its worth to be on the roadmap as its a great platform that suits better Forminators style and philosophy.
