]]>Hello!!
Can you make it possible to set the number of updates per user, for example set it 1 time or 2 times.
Well, or at least indicate the exact number of page updates.
Otherwise, it turns out that a person went to the site and left the tab open, but the update is ongoing and the advertisement is updated during all this time, no one clicks on a large number of advertisements and the cost per click falls.
]]>hello i not know if your plugin can help me doing this…
I’m using currency converter plugin with woocommerce geolocate (not geolocate for caching) and using also cache plugin and cdn…
all pages and CART also visitor can choose currency (the first that comes if the one of the country where he was connected with geolocate) but when he visit the CHECKOUT page with some product added i put the RULE to convert in EURO only the totals… CHECKOUT is in EURO only
if the customer leaved the checkout page then begin the problems because the old cache files and browser cached create confusion also the total amount are dusplayed in euro but the currency symbol for example in DOLLARS…
I suppose as solution could be if visitor leaved the checkout page automatically all pages on BROWSER will be resetted
does you plugin can do this? thanks

Hi
As a user previously comment, the plugin is generating this kind of URLs: https://www.domain.com/admin-ajax.php?action=force_refresh_get_version&postId=NUMBER.
After checking the logs files, I’ve seen Googlebot spends most of the time on the “wp-admin” folder with those URLs.
Is there any chance to avoid these URLs or to avoid Googlebot to spend most of the time with them? I would consider “disallow” but not sure how could I do it without affect admin-ajax.php.
Kind regars

However, my server is running the plugin’s requested PHP version: 7.4. I have also tried to use PHP 8.0 but no dice…
Anyone knows why this is happening? It is the first time I see this error with any plugin.

]]>Hello Force Refresh team!
Having an issue I believe is with this plugin. Occasionally it’ll just endlessly refresh.
When I view in developer console I’m able to isolate:
Name: admin-ajax.php?action=force_refresh_get_version&nonce=3b66081669&postId=1703
Request URL: https://merzaestheticsglobaltownhall.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=force_refresh_get_version&nonce=3b66081669&postId=1703
When I double-click on that item in the chrome developer console I get this message returned: {“status_code”:403,”status_text”:”The nonce you provided is invalid.”,”success”:false,”data”:[]}
Would this result in the behavior of continually reloading?

]]>Hi Jordan,
I cam across a particular issue with regards to currency switching and caching solutions / cloudflare.
Most cache solutions server static pages – however based on the following article most cache is not dynamically server based on content specific to users ip address / country / currency.
I have implemented the suggested work around: https://aelia.co/shop/woocommerce-cache-handler/
However, I was thinking there may be a similar stop gap solution.
Would you able able to write a custom functions.
Get current users GEO Location
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51275007/get-user-geolocated-country-name-in-woocommerce-3
If users GEO location equals “Country Code” then dynamically force browser to hard refresh rather than loading cached page.
I look forward to your feedback

I was wondering if you could confirm that the plugin was the cause of the database connection problem. I am not sure how to resolve this issue as I can’t update to the latest version of your plugin because my WordPress site does not meet the new requirements listed for the latest version of Force Refresh.
(by the way your plugin is great, it has made a huge difference to the site, before I was using Force Refresh clients were always complaining that they did not see updates and after using it they see the daily updates.)
]]>I checked my logs and and noticed that wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=force_refresh_get_version&nonce=xxxx&postId=xxx (I just put xxx because that info is relevant) and was wondering if it’s part of this plugin. I would assume so since a quick google search came across another thread here with a similar url.
What’s interesting is why the plugin is functioning so often when I thought it wasn’t supposed to do it on any regular interval, for example:
So can you confirm a) that this is your plugin and b) why so many requests to the url are being made where it says “Force refresh”?
Not every page on my site has that in the url, just a handful.
