For Retina Support the plugin says: PLEASE NOTE : thumbnails will be generated for each of the pixel densities chosen, which will increase your website’s storage space!
Can you tell me if, conversely, when I remove a 2x 3x or 4x checked box in the Retina settings does this remove the thumbnails that were generated when I did check the boxes…
thank you.
Does this work with WP 4.6?
If so, can I pull captions & descriptions directly off the WP Media page metadata?

]]>Hi,
I have installed FooGallery 1.2.4 in WordPress 4.2.2. Then I have installed FooGallery Individual Captions 1.0.2. With both a gallery that existed before the installation of the captions plugin and with a new gallery I have tried the following:
I have tried this with different FooGallery templates (including “Simple Portfolio”) but to no avail.
When I go back to the gallery admin page, I can see that my caption/description changes are still there, i.e., they are not lost somehow.
Any idea why I don’t see the caption/description changes in the gallery on my page?
Thanks,
Chriki
Running on WAMP localhost to test out, using WP 4.2.2 and the latest version of FooGallery.
First, the plugin causes a fatal error on activation:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in path/to/wp-content/plugins/foogallery-captions/foogallery-individual-captions.php on line 32
Comment out the offending is_plugin_active
wrapper lines and it activates.
Next, go to an existing gallery to add captions. Click on the little icon in the bottom left corner of a thumb and a popup box displays for caption, etc. entry. Seems good, but the data does not save.
Scrolling down, at the bottom of the foogallery screen is another error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in path/to/wp-content/plugins/foogallery-captions/foogallery-individual-captions.php on line 111
I gave up after that.
