It is very unfortunate that this plugin isn’t supported anymore. It still is the best and most straight forward way of embedding video, if HTML5 is not required. I find that all other solutions offer too many functions I don’t need and are overly complicated.

This plugin also offered an interesting idea with the automated video sitemap creation, which I never could get running properly though. I’m slowly phasing out its use as more and more websites require HTML5 compatible, responsive video players. But if that is not a requirement this is still my go-to plugin.
