Simply Symphony uses the very latest browser technology and has strict requirements for use. The editor runs live on your page with your themes scripting running, and sometimes this will cause a conflict with the editor. Please check the following and send a bug report if problem still occurs.
Objects are sticky stuck or jumpy when moving, or resize until huge.
– Sticky / Stuck : Make sure you are using FF, Chrome or IE Edge. If you are using IE, try FF or Chrome. If you have switched browsers and problem still occurs, send your themes name and we will check for conflicts and debug.
– Resizing : Resizing is sometimes normal while editing, above each object there is a menu, click toggle resize button to turn off, for global off mode check the options for turning off resizing. Resizing over and over until boxes are huge is a conflict with your themes scripting, send your theme name and we will try to debug.

]]>Hi,
what code do I need to change to make the tablets show the desktop view (but smaller to fit) instead of the mobile view.
Thanks!
]]>Hey Techmillion,
This is an amazing plugin and just what I was looking for. Well, maybe. But you are definitely sitting on something that could be big.
With the plugin right now there isn’t a practical way to add class or id to an image, right? And using the ’embed html’ and inserting the html code with a class works but then you can’t access and edit that code once submitted.
Do you plan to update this plugin soon to enable adding and editing classes or id in some way, please?
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Many thanks,
MVB
Uploaded per the installation instruction but theme doesn’t show up under available themes.
when trying to upload through the upload option and selecting the zip file, it gives a css stylesheet error.
]]>Can you build templates with Simply Symphony?
]]>The first is to take a look at CM CSS Columns and see how he handles text columns. It could make life easier for your users.
The second is to have a look at how Scribus handles text boxes and connecting them. Scribus uses XML to do this, and that should be convertible to CSS.
What I’m thinking of here is setting up a pair of text boxes on a page and having the contents thereof continue from one to another, without having to finagle with cut and paste.
In any case my best to you, Simply Symphony is fun to work with.

]]>Got my own computer with Windows10 and now the plugin works fine. Though I would like to see the following.
1. Written documentation.
2. The option to add docx files to the text box.
They both would be a great help.

]]>I click on “new post” under Simply Symphony. When the page loads I click on “new text box” and then on “blank white text area”. I get a number of icons, but they don’t do anything. I’m supposed to have a white text field, but I get nothing. Even worse, what happens in the tutorial doesn’t.
My advice is, rewrite everything.
