I love fluent forms. As most, I started off with the free version and upgraded to pro for the extra features.

I recently contacted support because I couldn’t get the conditional confirmation notification working when redirecting to an external url and the support team came back with a piece of javascript that allowed the form to wait a few seconds before redirecting. They also tweaked it for me, because there were different URLS to be redirected to, depending on what the user selected.

I have to say, I find the form is built very well with a good UX and the support staff are always helpful if you need it.

I would highly recommend Fluent Forms !

We recently bought a subscription to the pro version. We’re switching from Forminator because it is missing things like confirmation emails (aka double opt-in) and built in support for custom field values. Fluent Forms Pro has been very disappointing and very frustrating.

1. Hidden fields do not work right.
2. Multi-step forms don’t work. They break when you try to go to the next step.
3. They make flashy videos, but the documentation is not good. For example, nowhere in the documentation does it say how to get the value from the first name field to do something as basic as address the person by name in subsequent pages of the form. I had to go back and forth between saving a form placing it on a page and inspecting that page to find the input name to use (names[first_name]) and then editing the form. Frustrating!
4. Forces the Google reCAPTCHA icon to be on the WHOLE PAGE AND EVERY PAGE (you cannot close it or even scroll past it), like an unauthorized, unpaid ad for Google on every page of your site!!! Awful! Fluent Forms has no option to just place it somewhere inline in the form like Forminator. Fluent Forms has no respect for its customers’ aesthetic and the presentation of their forms. That alone is unacceptable.
5. There is no option to skip pages conditionally! Google Forms has this ability for free! With Google Forms you can do far more advanced logic than with Fluent Forms by setting up a question to lead someone to a specific section of the form. At the very least, I expected Fluent Forms Pro to have a way to make steps/pages of multi-step forms conditional. The work arounds for this are ridiculously redundant.

If you just need some simple forms, the plugin works nice and the UI is very nicely styled and the UX is good.

But if you need more, then the plugin shows so many flaws. You can’t use the input from one field as the default value of another. Only in the HTML field you can use dynamic field values, but only label and value (for selects for example), but not calc values. You can’t use the same value in selects, because the dropdowns only show unique values, duplicates are stripped. And the list goes on and on.

If you need more complex stuff, the plugin (and we own the Pro version and this is true for this version too) is too limited in its possibilities. This plugin could be much better and could solve more use cases, if they would look at this edge cases, but this would mean to listen about users …

… which brings me to my next point: support.

We contacted the pro support and even after they see those problems, there is no interest in fixing it. No workarounds or interest in extending the plugin. Does not work, your problem.

If the support is writing that there is no solution and you already fixed the problem with a workaround for hours then your support is failing massively for its purpose.

Fluent Forms has super service if you go to the WP Manage Ninja website to ask for help. I have clients who pay for Pro, and the team has replied to me within a day, often shorter. They genuinely want to help.

Having had to fight with other plugin companies to get answers, the team behind Fluent Forms is a breath of fresh air!

I rarely write a review. But here I feel a good reason to do it. In respect for the super support I have received. It is simply top notch.

Every time I’ve asked support about questions I couldn’t figure out myself, or have looked for methods to make my FluentFORM work so that it just suits my special needs. Each time I have received a quick response and a very detailed description of how I can do things. It really helps me a lot. I really feel like I’m being taken seriously.

I am very inspired to try to provide the same kind of support to my own customers. Everyone with customer support should look at and learn how the FluentForm company does support.

In addition to the good support, I am just a happy customer. I can make all kind of forms and make them handle data as I need.

We have been using Ninja tables with Fluent forms from past 2 years- both from the same team and it’s a very unique product they have developed.

The entries from the form can be displayed using Ninja tables giving a unique product offering. We have been using this data to get information from users and showing that real time on our webpage, this is exactly what we wanted.

The team is very helpful in support and responds quickly through their support system.

After using another form plugin for years, I wanted to start customizing the experience for my users and after doing some research I landed on Fluent Forms. Granted, I’ve only been using the form for a couple of weeks, but the experience has been incredibly smooth. From the start, I was able to achieve what I was trying to do with my previous solution right off the bat. It’s highly customizable, it works on multilingual sites which was a big deal for me, and the support is simply amazing. They get back to you so quickly and always willing to help and explain the steps needed to get your desired results! I can’t highlight this enough, if it wouldn’t be for the support they have, I would’ve been hesitant to stay but because of the help they provide, this was an easy solution for me.
